That's just feeding into stereotypes about South Bombay folks. I was born and raised in South Mumbai, and I can tell you, many of us are fluent in multiple languages, including Hindi. The misconception about South Mumbai residents not speaking Hindi fluently is just not accurate. Perhaps you've encountered a younger generation issue, but it's not representative of everyone from South Mumbai.

You're highly mistaken. Birlas got all the benefits during Nehru's reign just like Dhirubhai got during Indira's reign. This was the time of the license raj. Why do you Birla's was the only company named Hindustan motors which was allowed to manufactur cars at the time. The only honest people and the actual social welfare oriented people were the Tatas. Whatever claims I'm making are a product of multiple books I've read on their respective families/business/political biographies especially books ok the License Raj era.

I'm talking about subsequent years and the claim that they had great values which in the post 1947 decades they clearly lacked in terms of greasing the palms of the officials. Only the Tatas deserve that claim because they actually had such strong predisposition towards using untowards means to achieve their objectives. Which I'm not kind of blaming the Birla's for bribing every business house had to resort to it except the Tatas. They had unimpeachable integrity .Having said that under Pt. Nehru's prime ministership the Birla's very heavily favoured

He is a very interesting human being primarily because he has experienced life's ups and downs more severely than most people. Although he was very young when the tragedy occurred and the sheer magnitude of that experience in his life could have been enough to make him lose his mind or go on a path of self destruction but he held on to spirituality and thats what got him through. His ancestors protected him and showed him the way. Don't judge him by the way he looks or dresses because internally he may be way more spiritually advanced than most people in the industrialist community but I would highly recommend that he stay away from the media because most entertainment or news media organisations are like vultures who are always looking out for a prey and he could be an easy target. However he has managed to successfully dodge the negative energy through his spiritual practices I feel and that’s why he is protected. Ultimately thats what matters, no amount of money or opulence can substitute goodness and divinity.

Gandhian simple life in a humble abode is truly inspiring. Frugality is evident everywhere. Plain living and high thinking philosophy reflects in ethical business practices and in promptness with which bank loans are paid back, especially to the UCO Bank. Sudha Murthy's role model.

As much as I appreciate the contribution of Birla Family I also have a personal experience on how the employees of Birla run institutes are treated. My own family is suffering after giving their 20 years of Service to hospital run by Yash Birla’s family. After writing enormous number of emails and letters to Yash Birla and his son I did not receive a single response. Nirvan Birla’s cousin Madhusudha is exploiting their good work and name. Just wanted to share this story here, I am well aware it will not draw Yash Birla’s attention.

Actually majority birlas branches are corrupt death and bankrupt. The only functioning Birlas in billionaire list is Kumar mangalam Birla of Aditya Birla group pretty much good chilled a group. I think this fellow Yash Birla was immature and couldn't handle the group and became bankrupt I guess. So don't blame whole birlas sister.

Not to say the property itself which was built great and cherished with great passion over the years. Abhinandan. You are probably only Marwadi who is into bodybuilding. Hanumanji’s true Upasak.
