I'm so excited about next season. We are building something really special. Being old enough to have lived through the George Graham days and that win at Anfeild. Micheal Thomas, you legend. The downs with Bruce Rioch. Thanks for Dennis, by the way. And then those great years under, the mistro. That is the great Arsene Wenger and the Invincibles. And knowing that feeling, I'm feeling it .Mikel Arteta will us trophies. And feel free to laugh at me, but I can't shake this feeling that he will win us the Champions League. Maybe not this season, but.... who knows right. Here's to a successful future for both the men and women's team. Who are at the moment building a strong team. It's great to be a Gooner right now. This is probably the first time we go into a season, where we aren't saying what happens if so and so player is injured. 2013-2017 Arsenal was built around Cazorla, Ozil and Koscienly and before that we had a team built around Fabregas and RVP. Recently, it was a team built around Aubameyang now we have team not built around players but as part of a bigger vision.

That one way to look at it. But on the other hand, having a 100% balanced roster is good from an injury pov, but at the same time it means that you don't have that exceptional talent in your team. Winners almost always have THAT ONE player or couple of them, to really push that edge a little bit further. And that we saw at the end of last season.

@dmitriyobidin6049 We won nothing when we had RVP and Fabregas. We only won three FA Cups with Alexis, Özil and Cazorla. We won one FA Cup with Auba. Having an exceptional talent has shown it doesn't lead to huge success. When Arsenal had RVP, Chelsea had a more balanced team.

They just had better players(especially GK position). And, we actually seen only one season from RVP when he was fully ready - and that was the last season in Arsenal jersey. When he was ready to really make a big impact - he chose to leave. So, i wouldn't even say that RVP was our THAT ONE player. Henry was. The same could be said about Cesc, when he had become THAT player - he left. Not the best pattern if you ask me. When was the last time that Arsenal had a player that is atleast in a conversation for ballon d'or? Yea, 2006 when Henry was third in voting. And i don't reminiscing about good old days. I'm just saying that if we want to win, to win big, we need to act like big boys. And now it looks like we are still trying to build the best team possible with least possible investments... They tried to act big, making our biggest trade ever to acquire Declan Rice. Declan is good, at least i hope so. But Is this really our max? No team will ever sell a star player to Arsenal even for that type of money? No, it's just that star players don't want to play for Arsenal, when they are in their prime... Arsenal is one of the best to kickstart you career, but then you have to leave to play with the big boys. That is how Arsenal being treated by the whole football community and that is the sad truth right now. And the sadder part - i don't know what we have to do to change that. Last 3 years under Arteta we spend big, but do we really get players that are worth that money - i'm not sure.

@dmitriyobidin6049 I think if we're talking 2010-2012, RVP imo was better than any Chelsea striker. But that doesn't matter either way. In terms of having world class players, I don't think we have anybody that is 100% world class (although Partey at his best) can be. But we have about 7-8 players now that can be (e.g. Saka, Saliba, Martinelli, Jesus, Odegaard, Partey, Rice and maybe Gabriel). I don't think even when Arsenal were at their best in recent memory 2002-2004 we had that level of potential world class talent or even world class talent apart from Henry, Bergkamp, Vieira, Campbell, Cole and Pires everybody else was just a solid footballer.. Now we have an entire squad of solid footballers with the potential to have more world class players than we did at our peak.

It feels like i haven't seen my boys in forever 😢!!!! I have a good feeling for this coming season 💪
