My LA cousins help raise me I was in Cali every other summer my Uncle Bo sons are original BPS 60s and Hoovas I'm GDn from Morgan Park in Chicago my family reunion look like a big gang convention but you wouldn't even know they were members unless you confronted them my pops trained all the cousins how to move in silence but always move as a unit

I’ve lived a life of constant turmoil and trouble I’m 64 now pretty well adjusted managed to raise a beautiful little girl as a single father, at 38 years old I met some men through an organization that helped me finally become a responsible man , father, friend . Some people are so naive. I got no problem with anything these men get into and represent. The white dudes got down in prison. Most Folk gang members graduate to GDs when they get to prison. The ones I met were dope fiends that claimed GD. All the positivity is a front for the public and to deter the police, just like 1%er bikers do. They're still entrenched in violence and have no plans stop that. These dudes on a whole another level. It's refreshing to see a group of men like this acting grown and standing on true values. When I was coming up and used to bang I thought the best respect I could earn was through fear and that got me nowhere. Yeah, I was respected in my hood but for the wrong reasons. Sooner or later, all that fell apart and I realized to be a real man is to stand on your own two feet and support your family just like these men were speaking on. Now being older, the small crew that I run with are a lot like these guys. We don't like the word gang. We much rather prefer brotherhood. And being a man in my mid 40s and running with a crew of my brothers, I've also learned that the most important respect is earned through love rather than fear. I think this was my favorite video on this channel so far.

The effort and originality you put in to your videos is commendable and is always a great watch.

I respect what they said about work ethic discipline and honest jobs. It’s reminds me about that scene in a Bronx tale where the kid is hanging around gangsters and says the working man is a sucker and his dad says “NO shooting and robbing is easy but get up everyday and work for a living, I’m the tough guy! Your dads the tough guy!”

I never understood why you have to fight against loneliness, the "brotherhood"-feeling is just there to make you a good loyal soldier. I could never let someone use me like that just to feel a certain way.

Much respect Tommy. I've never joined but I have family that are. I've seen some of the good and bad. GD's are respected.
