INSIDE The SECRET Airline You've Probably Never Heard Of
Purchase shares in great masterpieces from artists like Pablo Picasso, Banksy, Andy Warhol, and more: www.masterworks.art/noelphilips
I took a flight behind the scenes with an airline I'd never heard of before, for an incredible flight up to what I believe could be the most beautiful airport in the US - Grand Canyon Airport.

Very impressive demeanour from the pilot, incredibly confident and relaxed especially doing so much landing and taking off in that short amount of time. Very skilled and experienced, would have felt very at ease sitting next to her.

Your pilot seemed lovely. Very knowledgeable and friendly. She is doing something she is clearly so pationate about. But even after 30+ years of flying, who could get tired of those viwes?

Wanted to say something similar. Female pilots aren't so prevalent even today, so goodness knows what rubbish she had to deal with 30 years ago. She probably had to be at least twice as good as many of the guys she trained and worked with (not fair but I suspect that's sadly true) so Noel was in good hands!
You couldn't have been in more capable hands. Carla was a real delight. 😊
Possibly one of the if not THE coolest videos on your channel. Absolutely brilliant didn’t want it to come to an end. Glad you two had a fantastic day out
“we’re goong rimming, baby!”.. oh dear!
You and Rach are such adventurers. You are showing us Americans a beautiful part of our country. Thanks! Hugs from Houston.
Your interaction with the pilot kept me smiling all throughout! Cheers!
Great to see you and Rach have the opportunity to experience this together. Your pilot was amazing as well and seems to enjoy what she still does after 31 years full time ! Great video Noel thanks !

You've lived in country now for less than a year, and already you've crossed off a major bucket list item for most Americans. Thanks for sharing your experience. Cool that your Westwind pilot got you involved a little bit in the navigation being a pilot yourself. Actually, I'd like to see more of your own piloting experiences exploring our United States.

This is so cool, Noel. And glad that Rach was there to enjoy it with you. I flew over the GC going to Vegas this year and the view from the skies is always spectacular. And oh my gosh you and I both don’t like heights! Happy travels!
Your channel will grow with more sightseeing instead of just flight reviews.great vid guys.
Her landings were soooo smooth!
What a fantastic pilot perfectly suited to that type of travel wirh her hospitality and knowledge. Pretty impressive inputs on final into Sedona to keep things steady 😊 Brilliant video Noel, one of my favourites 👍🍻

Just wow. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Great Video. 👍 Hope you do more Tours to go along with your flights. Much more interesting than just the flight. Thanks
Really cool video. That's obviously a really important part of your aviation story, it shows in your enthusiasm. More of these kinds of journeys please!
Wow! What a trip Noel. Who wouldn't want to do that? The best vid you ever made in my opinion. I can't think of much that I'd rather do than that. Amazing.
Great Job. Excellent images, I've felt like I was flying with you guys. Thanks Noel

Been to these places (did research down in the Grand Canyon as well). So glad you got to visit and see the sights.
That looked amazing Noel and Rachel. Thanks for sharing.
I grew up in Arizona and I love that you explored my home in this video!
This has been on my bucket list forever, just amazing
Flew in and out of Sedona about 15 years ago doing a GC flying tour and was fabulous. Used to be a great little restaurant at the airport and the best view of the sunset over the rocks was from the access road up to the airport! It’s such a stunning place to stay in so you need to take Rachel back for a proper holiday Noel!
Amazing flight Noel...so glad to see Rachel along!!! That P/W turbine engine has some power! Wow, the density altitude going back to Sedona and that wind was something! That pilot was so cool too, super-professional. Westwind Air Service price from Deer Valley up and back is very fair for what you see and time in air! Recommend fun time Trap/Skeet shooting at Ben Avery right near the airport! Cheers Noel & Rachel, great vlog!
Amazing video thanks Noel and Rachel.
Thanks for this @noelphilips for sharing this one. Cheers
To truly enjoy the Grand Canyon you need to be there to appreciate its majesty. Safe travels.
Wow, what a flight!
Did this a few years ago and it was brilliant! Great review.
My phone was charging upstairs, just finished the video, and I've come up to say that was my most favourite video of yours so far. I've been the canyon twice, and can relate. But for me, the highlight of your video, was that pilot. Loved it. 😀

I did the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon a few years ago. What an amazing experience that was.
Awesome video as always.
Wow, Noel, this is so cool....what a nice adventure. When I was working with an Airline, we used to have a layover in Phoenix and we visited Sedona and took a sightseeing Plane Tour over the Redrocks (I don't know, if I reckongnized it right) of Sedona and it was awesome. Thank you so much for treating us with this wonderful Video. Awesome footage.👍
That was brilliant. Family, flight and scenery!
Wow, those views sound amazing Noel! Such a nifty pilot too! Good stuff!
Some lovely camera views. Did Grand Canyon from Las Vegas many years ago - amazing scenery. I fly myself and also have a fear of heights - a pilot thing I reckon 😁
This is amazing Noel the views are spactacular another amazing video legend 😁

Did a similar flight over the bungle bungles at similar temperatures, never been airsick before but managed to fill 3 bags on that one.
Great video Noel, I remember watching the scat airways review just as I started to get into aviation a few years ago, I am now on my way to getting my PPL and am fully dedicated to a future job as a commercial pilot. Thanks for fuelling mine and many others’ fascination with aviation 🤝

Wonderful video with gorgeous views. I visited Sedona and the Grand Canyon back in the 1990s by car. As you have kids, they may enjoy Sedona Christmas lights. I have to admit that your comment that you were back in time for your tea cracked me up.😊
What a great trip, amazing pilot and such a cute plane 👍
stunning! glad to hear another person who loves flying but doesn't like heights. gliders. helicopters , prop and jet aircraft can't keep out of them but put me climbing the Eifel tower etc my legs buckle lol, seriously though that flight was a privilege to see thank you for taking us along.
Noel, it was cool to see the grand canyon, and seeing Carla explain a little bit how she flies, it was awesome!

Wow! What an incredible tour, seems like an amazing experience. Well done partner.
The pilot...she's coolness personified. Must be a delight for Noel to be involved as a sort of a co-pilot in some stages of this flight. I'm not afraid of flying, but standing on heights freak me out. Clifftops, viewing terraces, bridges, walkways, viaducts, balconies of towers and high buildings, cablecars. I didn't use to be like that, is it getting old?
been over the GC in a small fixed wing and a rotary to the bottom for lunch in March 2005 with Papilion Grand Canyon Helicopters, was amazing
Really enjoyed this one, great views thanks Noel!!!!

Great video! Love seeing Rachel
Looks like a great trip, and I especially love these "cozy" smaller planes. If you ever get a chance, look into the helicopter flights down to Havasupai. You do fly below the canyon rim and land at an Indian reservation, where you can book a night or more at the lodge.
Flew in there in about October 82. Remember the hot air turbulence was pretty impressive! Enjoy your videos immensely.

I grew up 2 miles from the Deer Valley airport! My mom used to take me to the airport restaurant when I was a little kid to watch the planes take off and land. Sadly, it is closed now but so cool that you were at that little airport!

YAYYY ANOTHER NEW VIDEO!!
Noel, been following you since Africa and this is by far the best video yet! Thank you! And Westwind went quite an extra mile with the GoPro under the wing installation, not to mention the active "moderation" of a veteran professional!. I'm especially happy that you could spend time together with your better half doing quite obviously what you love - cherish that quality time - it's what keeps you together! I also really enjoyed your "ground time" in Pakistan as one of your most significant "productions"! And finally - I had no idea you're a fellow pilot! Now go for the jumpseat! All the very best to both of you! - Cheers, Chris
