Inside The Paris Workshop Of Fabric Icon Pierre Frey | Beautiful Things | HB
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Since 1935 Pierre Frey has provided the world with luxurious French fabrics. Today, the iconic brand’s atelier is one of the last weaving facilities for home textiles in Paris. There, Pierre Frey and his team of dedicated experts (some employees have been with the company for decades) keep the craft alive. In one corner of the facility a wooden loom dating back to 1840 is used to hand-weave a silk velvet, producing up to one meter per day. In another area, modern looms churn out anywhere from 30 to 50 meters of fabric daily. Watch as Frey gives an intimate look at the detailed process behind some of their most popular products.

Where do they get the inspiration? What's the design process? What style that influence them the most? How much do the client have an influence over the product? So many creative process questions are unanswered
