Most teams play an 8 team rotation in playoffs. Thibs either rides his starters and wins until exhaustion or you can play your bench and lose. Pretty sure they aren’t here to lose.

I don’t understand the Knicks. Thibs just now started playing Burks and finally gave minutes to Sims (who they drafted a couple seasons ago). Like why are you drafting guys, trading for guys who you won’t even play? Especially if you don’t have Randle, Bogdanovic, and OG. Thibs will go down with riding his 7-8 man rotation when this Knicks team is deeper then most teams.

I'm (nor do I think chuck) is even necessarily talking about this game or even this series specifically. Unfortunately this is Thibs MO. His whole tenure with us, his biggest knock was against his rotations. RJ went through it, IQ went through it, Obi, Grimes, even Mitch wasn't being played in the beginning of his career bc thibs was favoring an already aging Taj Gibson.

The Knicks have players with potential on the bench but they’re not being used properly…look at Obi Toppin for example. He only played 19 minutes the whole time he was with the Knicks (from 2020-2023)…a beast just sitting on the bench in NY. He comes over to the Pacers and has become a massive threat off the bench. If I was the knick gm I woulda sat Brunson past 2 games and let him come back game 5.. but I’m not.. this series is fun to watch and scary at who’s gna get hurt nxt with the deflated Knicks.. but it doesn’t matter who wins coz Boston will deff be waiting.. even without porzingis Boston will come out on top and represent the east.. so pacers fan I know how you feel. 2-2 playing a half roster team and you can’t even sweep the Knicks. I agree OG is hurt a lot...BUT...if you were him would you want to re-sign to play for this coach?? Look at Precious too. Dude stepped in big time for us and played 40 minutes a night during the season when we needed him with guys out...then guys come back and our mental coach forgets about him a la Obi. Precious is definitely good enough to be a regular rotation piece. And how long of a career do you think Brunson is going to have (see D Rose) under this guy. It's just OG. 26-5 with OG. 13-3 when OG plays and Randle sits. 17-15 with Randle and no OG. Randle is just a stat stuffer who has not impacted winning since Brunson arrived. Before Brunson, they needed to lean on Randle for scoring, despite the fact that Randle is one of the worst go to scorers in the league. Now that the Knicks have Brunson, they need Randle to play more like OG, but Randle just HAS to get his stats. Knicks wouldn't be any better with Randle chucking up bad shots, turning the ball over like he's doing it on purpose, and playing inconsistent defense.

Who do you want on the court in these playoffs that hasn’t touched it? Sims? Daquan Jefferies? Jacob Toppin? All we have left now off the bench is 2 of the 3 between Deuce, Precious, and Burks since one has to start now ti replace OG. The statement that we don’t use our bench is absolutely crazy I don’t understand. If any of the players I listed got meaningful minutes in these games, we would have lost to Philly. Its funny how they have no clue even though 3 of them were basket ball player themselves. After the highlights they just start talking about how handicapped the Knicks are? Are you kidding me? The Pacers won by landslide and were totally dominant. They didnt even mention how well they played. Its funny because the Pacers are underestimated the whole season and some teams are permanently overrated like the Nuggets or the Boston Celtics. Why do they think that a healthy Knicks team would win the series even though the Regular season they had almost the same win-lose numbers? I dont get it. The Pacers are certainly the most underrated team. They should have won one the first 2 games. It should be 3-1 now not 2-2. The only reason its 2-2 is because the NBA apparently wants the Knicks to move ahead probably because they have more money. The referees are clearly not neutral. The Knicks got about 25 free throws in game 4 and the Pacers got 8 and even though the Pacers won by 30 points. I mean stop talking about the super Knicks. They would also have lost with Anonouby and Bogdanovic. Brunson is a badass player but he cant always make a monster game. Hes not amachine.

I’m so tired of this Thibs narrative by pundits and fans who have not watched the Knicks all season. Thibs short rotation this year was the result of injuries, not the other way around. Randle’s been injured since the end of January. Robinson was injured from December until the final few games of the season. OG missed 30 games from January til just before the end of the season. Burks was a net negative when he arrived after the trade. Precious killed the spacing post-All Star break. The remainder of the bench guys are hardly NBA level talent. Use your brains for once and stop parroting tired narratives.

Im rooting for the Pacers even though im not a fan. Actually im a Celtics fan. But im sure the powers that be are gonna find a way for the knicks to steal this series. Because its better for t.v. ratings if the Knicks are relevant. 😊

Knicks have been winning with offensive rebounding. Thibs going with tiny lineups doesn't make any sense. Precious should play more. Thibs isn't the best coach. Good lineups fell into his lap due to injury. If everyone were healthy, Thibs would be playing Randle 40 minutes per night and starting Mitch Robinson over Hartenstein...and the Knicks would have lost to the Sixers.
