A great block but Giannis going there with his left hand....Wemby got posterised 3-4 times from Giannis in the game...I think it might have been his max posters in season. As a Bucks fan I was like "hmmm....Brook, Bobby, Kris, Cam trade and we get Wemby to play with Giannis and Dame..." :) I don't care who's on the bench :) And then Malik and Marjon and anyone else traded (apart from Ajax) and we get Smart.... :) lol...

It was all about him understanding the timing, he figured it out by the end of the game. There's a lot of things he still needs to play through and him being on a minute restriction is really stopping him from a faster progression. Once he's on full minutes he'll be a totally different player by the end of the season. Like you won't see him make so many of the mistakes he still has in his system.

Giannis is the best player in the world. But props to wemby, he blocked his idol, went neck and neck with one of the greatest players ever and even blocked him and giannis and wemby blessed the nba world with one of the greatest regular season games ever.

Every young all-star point guard in the league should be looking at Wemby like "I could win a chip with that guy". Guys like Trae Young that struggle on defence would be automatic contenders if they could get to the Spurs. People talk about Chet who's 2 years older than Wemby... you give Wemby Shai and he'd be getting 30 a night. Doncic, Shai, Ja, Haliburton, Trae, LaMelo... Wemby teams up with any of those guys down the line and it's game over.

I'm glad Kenny mentioned that and he's absolutely right! I noticed the sane thing, the Spurs need a *Playmaker!*

Man I can see Wemby pushing his game to levels never seen before if he had a player like Rondo. The knowledge Rondo has and the ability to coach in real time during games on how Wemby can utilize space and positioning where he can eat and also pass him the ball would be a dream. Wemby would have easy buckets for sure and run the floor better imo. Wish Spurs do make a move to acquire a quality point veteran to develop him.
