Unfortunately he didn't make enough when they got down 3-1.... they have to hold on in Philly and then if they can do that they go to NY and MSG will be a bigger opponent than the Knicks in a game 7 environment. Good luck handling all that. They're only 33.3 % of accomplishing 3 consecutive wins.

Obviously nobody is talking about Maxey today if the Knicks don't make a bad foul....a bad pass... and a missed free throw in the final moments. It's funny how mistakes in execution create heros that never should have had an opportunity to be a hero. The same thing happened when Philly blew the game the other night. I would say id rather be in the Knicks position at the moment. They were seconds away from a 4-1 series win. They already won a close game in Philadelphia..... and these Knicks are Nova guys so they are comfortable playing there..... and still have another home game that will have an explosive crowd if they don't get a win in Philly.

the issue with fouling is there would have been 10 seconds left. had maxey made both, which he likely would’ve, they’d have been down by 1. they would have quickly fouled with about 8 seconds on the clock. if the knicks were to split their free throws, the 76ers would have been down by 2 with 7-8 seconds to go. this would have given the sixers a chance to win the game in regulation. by not fouling, the 76ers were forced to take a 3 to keep the game alive, and the knicks were prepared for that. coaches have differing opinions on the matter, but fouling with that much time left would’ve left the sixers the opportunity to win rather than just tie. they lost so it looks like a bad decision, but had they fouled and ended up losing in regulation, it would be looked at as one of the biggest playoff mistakes ever.

I love Maxie. In his rookie year I was YELLING at the tv, "Doc, put the kid in!" Blazing fast, always with a smile. Just pure joy for the game. There are folks in Philly that call him AI 2.0. Maybe skills wise, but Maxie is a much more selfless and likeable player.

This is great, thanks for playing "inside the NBA" as it's great to see these guys analyzing the game from an insider perspective. I like how Shaq gets to the point. Kenny likes to think theory, and the animal likes to do the two handed animal dunk. As a Kings fan, I remember Kenny smith playing point guard. I also remember Shaq against Webber iso situations. I remember the 76er doing two handed dunks. Funny, Webber had the most dunks several years. More to the power on the dunk. my favorite was drexler dunking over Jordan during an all-star game.

EMBIID had 9 TURNOVERS and 7 assists...NBA credited him with 10 one of the assists was a pass to MAXEY who shot the ball almost 10 seconds later. 6 of the 7 assists were to outside shoots... NBA likes to inflate stats to compare with legends but forgets this TRIPLE DOUBLE before the 2000s was a game with 1 assist

I never watch b ball. So I watched this series like I'm a newborn observer. It is very clear the commenters talk more on Knicks. The refs also 100% are bias towards sixers like all those rebounds the Knicks got in game 4. I counted a " foul " every single time. Lmao it's like the refs got a few 100. Not really mentioned much, but Anunoby also missed the first of two free throws with 59 seconds left. If he'd made both, it's a three possession seven-point lead. Since he only made one, it became just a two possession lead. Yes, Hart missed a free throw late, but everything that happened after the one-minute mark of regulation is less relevant if Anunoby had just made both free throws at that crucial point.

Let's back up to the 3-pointer in regulation that went to a replay ruling. He probably took four steps to get there and *definitely* took three. That needs to be reviewable as well while they're looking at it.

Knicks fan here. We need to clean up a few things before game 6. Simple mistakes cost us game 5. Play smart, make your free throws. Put some pressure on Maxey. Stop with the turnovers for god's sake. Let's get it done bro. Go Knicks.

Oubre had 3 solid games in a row. Tobi being providing his normal career averages finally, made the difference, outside of Maxey being a stud. Overall the team did well. Embiid struggled offensively, and was giving the game away with his turnovers, but his rebounding, defense, and willingness to pass was impactful. It's games like this where you need a legit #2 guy, and Maxey is that guy. Thank you Jesus for this win.
