When you start telling the truth about players this is what happens. Lebron is the problem with everything to do with basketball. Him getting his coach fired is proof he’s not gonna retire and proof of the lakers picking his son up in second round and the whole reason for having a second round. Shows you how much power he has and I guess all those P.DIDDY party’s help him with the woke gay commissioner. All his clutch sports paid media sure helps him like Shannon nick jj and the rest of them fools. Basketball is turning into politics and if there is no truth or if we are only gonna hear about the lakers then we just need to stop watching.

True, the NBA is about achievements and narratives and right now it is sooooo boring. The quality is actually very high, and there is a ton of talent, meaning that the best players are only slightly better than an average player...everybody can shoot, everybody can score at the rim and the lack of a need for a complicated iso game means everyone is pretty much equalized, and the games come down to who has the most good players, and not the best player anymore. And there isn't really anyone to hate or cheer against, and there isn't an underdog story like Steph to cheer for...were going to be stuck cheering for 7 foot 4 guys who can run point and shoot 35 foot threes at will...the most unrelatable players ever.

Ernie is the 'glue''? He just bounces obvious questions off the other 3. And, Shaq doesn't say much. We just sit around and wait for Charles to say something funny and/or controversial. They aren't that good. I'd rather have "The Starters" resurrected again, they had more content.

FS and ESPN do such a awfully staged and boring s**tshow over and over again. 4 guys on inside the nba keep it fresh.

I have not watch ESPN that much anymore I only tune it for shannon and stephen A otherwise i can do without listening to them.The other shows and networks are trash. The Pat show is ok but i dont watch it enough to enjoy. I did enjoy undisputed till shannon got kicked off.Many of us have been faithful to inside the NBA. I can see people just not watching anymore like me.If it isn't entertaining you truly aren't missing that much thats why you see social media clips so high volumed now. The shows aren't as good anymore.

agree to that.. the show is still the best for decades now and those 4 guys were always there. They have the best TV chemistry, unlike ESPN with so many cast members and every year someone always get replaced and FS is just a s***show.. I just hope it wont get canceled..

TNT games are way better than ESPN games. The production, the insight, the personalities, the knowledge..every ESPN game at some point has be thinking, “man I miss TNT already.”

But he's right. Without Ernie running the show, being the host, it'd just be an uncontrollable circus. Ernie playing the straight man in their jokes is what makes it even funnier. Without him, there's not Inside the NBA. He was the one to go out and get Chuck, Shaq and Kenny for the show.

@@davisjohnson7691 Kenny was there longer than Shaq. The original team was Chuck, Kenny and Ernie Johnson and it still was good back then. I do like the addition of Shaq because he balenced out Chuck bullying Kenny when he started to bully Chuck.

Agree though Shaq is at the limit also replaceable (better if not, of course). The show was acceptable with Webber instead of Shaq way back when. However no Chuck or no Ernie is an instant dealbreaker.

It's not the show itself, is the chemistry of those four guys. Even if one of those guys is missing, the show is not the same

If this actually happens we need to protest at the university of Columbia

“Oh gawd no” has never hit so accurately for me. I barely even watch basketball anymore and Chuck, Shaq ,Ernie are why I keep up with basketball at all

Inside the NBA has been fun because the crew can be themselves

Barkley and Jeff Van Gundy together would make a great show!

I ended up watching inside the NBA rather than watching the NBA highlights 😂, these guys made the recap more interesting + they are giving some history lessons with their experience as players.

This has nothing to do with Adam. The broadcast right have to go up for Bid, just like the NFL, NHL and MLB. NBC is offering $2.5 Billion per year for the NBA rights. And Warner Bros has been losing money for almost a Decade now( not because of hoops) so matching it doesn't make any sense, Business-wise.

I think TNT's current contract goes through the 24/25 season. Hopefully we get at least another year.

LeBron wants it canceled because of how they always go off on his baby tantrums.

Inside the NBA is not the best sports show on tv. It’s the best show on television period!! I’ve said this for years

Wow. All these years, i thought it was Ernie's show. When Ernie calls it quits, then you move on.

Breaking up that team in any way would not work. All four of them are perfect together.

I watch because of Charles, Ernie & Kenny.

If you can't beat them buy them and cancel them inside the nba doesn't hold back on anybody and it ruins the espn narrative on why the media darlings lose

Ernie J is the glue that holds the show together - he has such a big heart (as does Shaq) and without him or a forced different format (where for eg Shaq and Barkley can’t banter) it won’t be the same.

This show to the NBA is as important as its greatest players ever. Why would they want to risk losing it?

The NBA needs to stand up for TNT Inside the NBA. This show is gold as is and does not need another network or other hosts (temp guests are ok). They definitely need to keep the core of Ernie, Charles, Kenny and Shaq intact. Don't ruin a good thing, leave as is and let it determine its own fate.

A lot of people doesn't realize how long the show has been coming on it has been coming on since the early nineties Ernie was there from the beginning

Why don't they just do Inside the NBA on TNT after the game airs on w/e network.

Probably the end of watching basketball for me. I only keep up thanks to Inside the NBA

None of this would happen until After the Playoffs are finished NEXT year. TNT still owns the rights to the 2024/2025 season.

We can only hope.

The new TV deal wouldn't start until 2025-2026 season. Next season will still be the same regardless. Inside is not going away after the playoffs.
