Baltimore is a very bipolar city. Born, raised & still live here but the issue is the cultural misguidance. I really hope it turns around in the future, because St. Louis really has a lot of cool stuff to do. The city museum for example is amazing, I’ve never seen anything like it. I was born in Mexico and i spent 8 years there until i snuck into the usa, anyway but for my first 6 years in Mexico i was living on a ranch in Jalisco about an hour away from puerto Vallarta but then i was moved with my dad to other cities and most of these cities i lived in like first i was moved to Uruapan for a month and then Acapulco for 6 months and then we made like a 1 month stop in Mexico city and then made another stop in irapuato but only for a week and then made it to Aguascalientes for a month and then after that Culiacan for 3 months and then after that we stayed in ciudad obregon for about 2 months and then after like a whole days drive we made it to Tijuana and we stayed there for a good 5 months until we made it to our last city Heroica nogales for a month and then from there we met up with a coyote (not the animal) and then made it into Arizona but i learned a lot from these cities and that is if you wanna stay safe, dont look like a dumb tourist and try your best to blend in with the locals and this works for me every time i revisit any one of these cities

Born and raised in St. Louis. It’s almost normal to have lost 1 or more friends or family to violence people are desensitized. The city wasn’t always like this, growing up it was much more family oriented and cultured. Now you have to look over your shoulder and carry guns with you everywhere in that place. Very extreme gun laws so people literally roll around with AR15s it’s insane. People getting shot on highway is a common occurrence as well, the most dangerous highway in St. Louis I 70 East heading towards downtown, I’ve lost a cousin and have had friends shot on that highway. Nowhere is off limits including the areas that are more suburban. I can remember being in the 11th grade during the Ferguson riots, entire schools were protesting and walking out, I even attended a few protest with some friends myself

Hi from Tijuana, I live across the border in San Diego, all the "good" friends I had that where murdered where drug dealers or smugglers, only 2 of them where innocent bystanders of shoot out, it still doesn't scare me, it's just a way of life you learn to live with.

I’m kind of surprised that it’s Cape Town and NOT Johannesburg that’s considered the most dangerous city in South Africa. I traveled and stayed in Cape Town back in 2017 for about a week, and for the most part, things were not too crazy out there from my personal experience. But hey, I guess it’s a good thing that I was lucky and fortunate to not be in or around too many high-risk areas in or around the country 😐 Also, most of the people I met and hung out with while there were mostly very polite, hospitable, and funny people. It’s unfortunate that not everyone there can be like most of those I met while there. I hate to say this, but I think most people can agree that it’s mostly police/government corruption and the scars left over from racial segregation laws imposed under the Apartheid system that are to blame for the vast majority of criminal behavior and why so many Black Africans in South Africa still live under deplorable living conditions in the Cape Flats and other impoverished neighborhoods. It’s truly a shame 😔 Sorry for the long ranting 😅

But it’s not like that. I mean, if someone here went there they wouldn’t instantly be robbed or kidnapped or murdered, it’s a beautiful place to visit, it’s one of the best states of Brazil. And the most important rule NEVER GO OUT AT NIGHT. I mean, you can go if you want BUT ITS WAY MORE DANGEROUS THEN DAY and everything he said about Brazil, of course it’s right, here we are used to crimes at day and people with guns. I'm Brazilian and I must say: I have never been robbed in my homeland or suffered any kind of violence. But when I traveled to Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Barcelona (Spain) I suffered some attempts of robbery... So, we cannot only accept this advices from the media and internet! Every place offers some kind of trouble, so we must be aware and always search more about the place we are visiting!

Before this week, I've actually stayed for 3 weeks in Querétaro, Mexico which is located right in the heart of Mexico and as long as I've been there, I've never had any issues with the people there. Everyone there were very friendly any I would say that Mexico is a very good country to visit especially if you are comfortable speaking Spanish. I know that Mexico also has its share of murders, robberies, and kidnappings, but I think as long as you use normal precaution and you stay away from suspicious people or activities, then you should be fine. From what I've experianced, Querétaro is actually a much safer place than Puerto Rico. Also in Mexico, I've had much less of a language barrier because I remember in Puerto Rico, many people who claimed to speak English and Spanish couldn't understand me well in neither language, in Mexico however, although most people there don't know any English, they do however understand me well in Spanish. Of course to be fair, I know a lot more Spanish now than I did in 2008 when I visited PR.

I live here in Querétaro too. Born here, been here 2 years. It's relatively safe here. There is crime & as in any city bad neighborhoods. I live in Lomas de Casablanca which is one of the rougher neighborhoods. However I have a lot of family & have no issues walking around even at night. In certain streets I won't mention you are almost guaranteed to run into trouble at night. Mostly addicts trying to get more money or drunks fighting each other. For the average person however it is a great place to live even here. The city as a whole is booming & modern as it is with plenty of jobs. I love it here

@@NwordOutward like me where I stay at en el rancho de Santa María de Los Baños when I go there, I can easily walk around the place and Los Positos and visit my friends who live there like if I lived there for many years. Also sometimes go out at night to buy something from a near store and I never had any problems with anyone there. Actually, I've had much less of a language barrier in Mexico than I did in Puerto Rico. I remember in 2008, when I visited Puerto Rico, many people who claimed to speak English and Spanish couldn't understand me in neither language. Mexico’s a strange one tbh… I think people would be surprised how much tourists are left alone by the cartels… I’ve travelled round the country in places such as Sinaloa, Jalisco… many more. Maybe 4 and a half months here… never any problems. I felt more of a target in Colombia… which I also still love

I visited Santiago de Queretaro just last November and a tour guide I had told me that the city was very safe (in contrast, a nearby city of Celaya was dangerous and they don't go there!). I walked around Queretaro and never felt unsafe at all. Nice small city, not really a touristy place but it has it's own humble historical charm! I'd visit again!

It seems like our guy from Infographics has never travelled. It's not the average murders per 100,000 which determines or stops you from visiting... It is the amount of stealing / cheating / robbing tourists. Murders happen because of cartels and they don't touch tourists. But being duped and cheated is a different story. Please visit places like Siriya, India or Turkey.

I think you should include an explicit and clear statement in every video that you have a link to your sources in the description. Also related to sources: please show them with a footnote in both the video and the document. I trust you, but that would make it easier for people who don’t to fact-check your claims.
