Lol actually Africa is one of the RICHEST nations in the world it’s filled with oil diamonds gold and other precious resources Africa has the unfortunate monicker of being a country that has the resource curse or the curse of plenty in which a country or something bigger has an abundance of natural resources but has very little economic less democracy or worse developments then countries with less natural resources Africa is a perfect example of this if that continent hadn’t been subjected and it’s resources taken it would be one of the most powerful or the most powerful continent on earth

Firstly, Africa is a continent. Africa didn't create the gold or oil it has. It was already buried in the ground. Secondly, resources are worthless when buried in the ground. Other countries are enriching themselves with Africa's resources because they have the financial and technical capacity to exploit. So Africa doesn't make as much from its resources which is sad.
