I love this baseball hire
I remember Chastain when she played. Solid player who not surprisingly looks like a good coach who hopefully can be great.
Terry R and Paul M had nothing to do with Paul Skeens arriving at LSU.That was Coach Jay Johnson. Skeens arrived around the Fall of 22.

Air Force connection with Skeens and PM was mentioned.
Please don't promote lowering the bar by saying "Mark Kingston was in the post season guys," like that is something impressive to a program like South Carolina. Hosting Regionals and playing in Omaha is impressive. Not simply making the post season.

You completely missed the point. It was clearly stated that wasn't good enough at South Carolina but good enough at a lot of other places. Please listen.
Yall literally talked about not wanting a guy this old last week and now yall act like you never said a word about it and JC during the same show talked about the same coach just hired was ran off by the vigor of the LSU fans and how SC didnt need a guy like that. Don't believe me just listen to the shows last week. Can't remember which one it was but none of these guys talked like this last week.

Sure did mention that about LSU when talking about pressure jobs. We never once evaluated him for this job, though. Would love to find where we talked about guys being too old. Too old is getting off off the bench and getting tossed out of a critical game when you are the FORMER coach. That's too old.
