Lazer14 many old dishwashers from the 50s up until the 80s had glass doors.they also had a spinning top rack called the Roto rack where you would put all the cups & glasses

SandyyyviveFirst it’s amazing ours uses hot water to wash with then a cold rinse, followed by a hot rinse And usually dries the dishes if you leave them in there a while after finishing from the heat from the hot rinse It cleans well too

My dishwasher uses just 6 litres of water for a whole week's dishes (I live alone) & I never rinse or scrub first. Everything comes out gleaming first time. Especially glassware! It really does sparkle. Hand washed glassware never gets really clean. It saves hours of work & the energy & water savings are huge!

Y'all it doesn't "waste water", the water is drained, cleaned, and reprocessed back through your local water system! The only water that disappears is what we consume. WATER IS RECYCLED. WE'RE ONLY TOLD NOT TO WASTE WATER TO SAVE OTHER'S WATER BILLS. Thank you to coming to my Ted Talk.

To all of you who says it's a waste of soap, go load the dishwasher completely full of dirty dishes, and time how long it takes for it to wash. Then take the same amount of dishes with the same amount of dirty stuff on them and wash them all at once by hand. It takes longer, and they don't get as clean because you don't use as hot of water as the dishwasher. Your sink piles up with dirty dishes. Think about it. you stop up the sink, add water, and then add soap to your sponge. You most likely have to drain your water 4-5 times during that wash of all that stuff. In order to get them perfectly clean, you have to add more soap to your sponge every once in a while as well. Think how little soap you have to put in a dishwasher, to get ALL of those dishes clean. And, instead of washing the dishes by hand, you could multitask and do other stuff that needs to be done while the dishes are practically washing themselves. And, it only takes about ten to twenty minutes to load and unload the dishwasher. 10-20 MIN. Your not eating constantly, so you don't need to constantly have all of your dishes clean. With the dishwasher, you don't have to come home, and spend 30 min washing all of Thursdays dishes. You just spend 5 min putting them into the dishwasher and that's that. THE END :)

Not even ten or twenty minutes to empty. I’ve actually timed it (because I dread doing it lol) and it only took like six minutes to totally empty. So you can have an entire load of dishes washed and put away in about half an hour. Dishwashers are amazing.

Yep. I drain my dish water if I feel it's too dirty. I wasn't raised to do so but it's just common sense. Why would wash dishes in dirty ass water?!!!!!!!

It’s fun when you put in too much soap and it floods your kitchen floor with bubbles. So it washes your dishes and your floor!

I didn’t know so many people hate dishwashers. I’m like there so stupid saying it’s a waste of time and soap and water. Do y’all telling me y’all wash all ya clothes by hand too then. Washing machine and dishwashers are the same one is for clothes and the other for dishes.

slauter 19 washing dishes are easier than washing clothes. Washing clothes take hell lot of time and hardwork, process as compare to dishes. Atleast there we can save water by doing dishes by hands. Why we are not thinking about idea of where we can save.

Am in a dilemma to should I buy/not coz of its quality of clean? 1. Does dishwasher cleans milkpan & cookers clearly like hand wash boz many times v use wire brush to clean milkpan, but as I seen here its just water spray with soap. Coz 35k is lot of money I don't want to end up in disappointment moreover waste of space too as a showpiece 2. if dishwasher does its job which is the best one, (money not a matter) Which is the best dishwasher 3. Whish washing tabs are best?

DO NOT PUT DISH LIQUID SOAP INTO THE DISHWASHERS - UNLESS YOU WANT A DISASTER - USE DISHWASHER DERTERGENTS - I LIKE CASCADE COMPLETE - FOR A CLEANER WASH ALWAYS SELECT HI TEMP WASH - AND USE A RINSE AGENT.

@@alijamesanovic5037 if you use regular detergent, the dishwasher won't be able to clean and rinse dishes completely. At the end of the cycle, when the dishes are supposed to be clean, foam will be everywhere and it will hard to remove the soap inside the machine. Only use specific detergent for dishwasher machine, which is more efficient and makes less foam and rinses completely by the end of the cycle.

Monika Kabra Dishwashers use less water than hand washing. A lot of the water in there is being reused for the "scrubbing" portions of the cycle, then fresh water is used to rinse.
