nice vid. like the spartan wanna get one .buyin a cold steel make me always hapy. even if they not higher end of materials they r great tactical knifes for the price.

@tyronebiggums3 No blade centering issues on my end. Lock up is like a bank vault too.

@ArtisanBlade So the blade doesn't open by accident from the closed position. There was very little keeping the blade closed after I had bent the spring.

I just got a new Spartan and its hard to unlock like you said. My 4 max scout and AD 10 are no problem.

Great Knife I Love Mine, Nice Video I was Wondering why the Lock is so tight

I don't understand why would somebody even think about loosening a lock on a knife, it's like loosening a safety on a gun but it was nice to see the inside of the Spartan. Thumbs up for that.

@Infantrymyers Really? That's very odd. I would take it back apart and make sure everything is put back in correctly

@xiuxiu1313 ya haha i actually figured it out a couple minutes later i accidently switched the pins in the lock lol they looked the same but apparently they werent

So if you want to make it open easier you just clamp down on the lockback and it loosens the spring?

if you kept the steel lining off would you still be able to use the knife?

@1nvrknws eh. I just came up with a bunch of words that people who watch my channel might search for, then just copy paste into each upload. Makes it easy and fast.

took mine apart and now its got blade wobble up and down and i cant figure out why?

Great Vid , like to see how my knife looks on the inside but always afraid to take it apart My knife seems to have a grinding sound or feel when it is opened .from about 1/4 to 1/2 way . Have you run into this ? If so what can I do about it ?

You, MFR, mine is already smooth and sharp, i cut myself! Do not underestimate this Cold steel knife!

Now YOUR FOREVER WARRANTY is worthless.... Adam Demko spent a lot of time framing his craft with Cold Steel.... I would never advise disassembly of the Spartan or other Cold Steel folders..... there is good reason these knives have such tremendous LOCK UP..... so you will not LOOSE YOUR FINGERS!

Its supposed to have a tough lock on it so it doesn't close on your hand! You probably ruined your knife! Congratulations
