My parents lived in the town of Sonoma, California. Their next door neighbors had a catering service. While this property was being built/developed, Robin Williams had them cater a lunch every Friday for the carpenters, and various other workers. I guess they "brown bagged" it, Mon. - Thurs.. The neighbors did tell us that it was a pretty amazing place.

Robin spent 44 million dollars to build that house. He had to spend it or he would lose it to taxes. He thought of it as an economic flywheel. It provided jobs for a lot of people. He was able to write it off and that was money that didn't go for bombs. Rock on Mr Williams.

Yes, I learned about this from a friend. You actually need o spend money to pay less taxes. So my friend would buy several expensive cars and just trade them in or sell. He said it was better for the economy then some politician using it to decorate their office

Well it may have contributed to his suicide because when he lost that estate because he had to pay a fortune for his second divorce , he said it broke his heart . He was already miserable because he said after years of doing coke and then giving it up he said his brain was never the same after that ... that all the years of it did something to him , messed him up . He was also miserable because after the divorce he made movies he couldn't stand but did it for the money . And then he found out what the horrors were laying ahead for him with Lewy Body dementia .

A very humble man, Robin Williams is. On my work to the VA San Francisco one early morning, I saw him in his pajamas outside his house at El Camino Del Mar. He just picked up his newspaper from the front gate. I called out to his name " Robin, Robin, good morning! " He flashed a wide smile and waved back at me. This was in the mid 1990s. Little did I know he has his own demons. Really sad the way he died😢.

What many people do not know is that depression was *NOT* the underlying cause of Robin’s suicide…it was a little-known brain disease called *Lewy* *body* *dementia* . In the last year of his life, Robin experienced a startling pattern of behavior. His friends, family, and film colleagues could tell he was not himself as he began exhibiting symptoms like confusion, forgetfulness, paranoia, hallucinations, anxiety, personality changes, and difficulty with movement. Robin could tell something was wrong, too, but he did not know what was happening to him, why it was happening, or how to stop it. Robin and his wife, Susan, sought help from numerous medical specialists, but were unable to obtain a correct diagnosis before his untimely death. After his death, an autopsy revealed advanced stages of Lewy body dementia, a less common form of dementia that affects an estimated 1.4 million people in the US. ❤

Not everybody goes to heaven, as heaven is not a huge garbage container, we have to REPENT, OBEY, SERVE , share the Gospel, keep ourselves clean, not participating in worldy affairs. People who doesn't serve God (Jesus Christ) serves Satan., stop believing that every person who dies go straight to Heaven. Wrong.

  • @spearmint1569

@@katherinerourke8927 Religion is not the topic here. The thief didn't have time to make it right with the people because of his situation but he did have plenty of time to make it right with God, and he did. When he acknowledged he was a sinner and Jesus as the Son of God , he repented , Jesus knew it was a genuine repentance. He saved him. Just because people say " I believe in Jesus" they go straight to Heaven, no, there's more than that, believing is doing things God's way, not ours. Guess who is one of the most believers? Satan, he talked to Jesus face to face when he tempted Him , of course, Satan believe in Jesus to his own harm. Does Satan qualifies to go to heaven because he's a believer? How about a serial killer that" believe" in Jesus? A lot of them do. Does he goes to heaven just because he believes and no repentance? No my dear, when Jesus said "don't be afraid, just believe" Mark 5:36 it means have faith, trust, does someone trust the Lord when things are extremely difficult? Earthquake, divorce, terminal illness, tragedy, etc etc etc. Very hard to believe, trust , right? Going to heaven is not easy but is not impossible either. Genuine repentance is the key. Heaven is a holy place, to make it there we have to surrender ourselves to God ( Jesus Christ), to the point that we are no longer ourselves but Jesus in us. We can' t expect to go to heaven if we continue living worldy lives, that's not going to work. Have a blessed day.
