See, I feel like that just is sadness. Really, I think anxiety also is just fear. I feel like they should’ve fleshed out the characters they have rather than throw in a bunch of new ones, and maybe throw in one or two instead of like 4 Edit: I feel like I should clarify; I know fear and anxiety aren’t *exactly* the same, and neither is pessimism and sadness, but they do have overlaps. I have anxiety, I know being anxious isn’t as simple as being scared of everything. Like how you can be happily anxious for something, doesn’t mean you’re scared for something good. My concern is more so that they’re going to clutter the movie with the 4 or 5 new extra characters, especially since they’ve already established that emotions can be mixed.

I think Schadenfreude would be a fun choice. But I guess as it is a form of joy they combined him with joy. Schadenfreude is a more sinister version of joy(getting joy out of other people’s pain). I think I’d would have been fun to see him in inside out2.

Love is a good one but I think Hope and Joy are too similar. I also think Pride would be a good one. It's kinda like Joy but in a more confident way

Yeah, we have one teaser trailer. The movie isn't even out yet and it's already being overanalysed for content. Like, I get that they need content, but we have 117 years of cinema already out there to overanalyse for views.

Pessimism is extremely handsome and would’ve been a great counter to Joy. It’s not pleasant to have him in the driver’s seat, but in a survival situation where things are going sideways, he’ll get you out in one piece.

The way anxiety stims is kinda wholesome

The Crabmeat (ガニガニ Ganigani?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, crab-based Badnik created by Dr. Eggman. Crabmeats are slow-paced Badniks that are capable of shooting projectile balls or homing missiles from their pincers. Crabmeats, as their name implies, are inspired by real life crabs. The original Crabmeat models had red cephalothoraxes with gray underbellies and four gray and short crustacean-based legs with claw-like feet, which allowed them to scuttle around. "Crabcrab") are found in Green Hill Zone and Spring Yard Zone. In gameplay, Crabmeats slowly move back and forth. When they spot the playable character though, they start charging up their attack. Love is definitely an emotion. You can feel love towards someone and be happy about it or be mad at your partner and still love them

I wish we got guilt instead of embarrassment cus we saw in the first movie that disgust and fear expiate feeling embarrassed when they were called on in class so they already had embarrassment when you combined the two

Covetousness should have fr been a thing cause that would’ve been a cool lil element to the movie and maybe would have added an opportunity for danger considering that he probably would have been evil. I think the storyline should be he is Riley’s ‘intrusive thoughts’ coming to life. We all have them and he could represent that but actually making her do them. The og cast along with the other new ones would have to somehow stop him from reeking anymore havoc. I think that would be an interesting little story but that’s just my view on the character. I really like the ones Disney chose currently though as they really do represent how a teenager goes through life!❤

I don’t even understand why there are going to be more emotions considering that these new emotions are not in *any* of the end credits or the entire duration of Inside Out.

I did hear that there would've been around 27 emotions in the second movie.

I seriously hoped to see any positive/pleasant emotions like Passion/Love or Hope, bc it's just kinda odd and unrealistic to very so many negative/unpleasant emotions and only one positive/pleasant Joy

I preferred the idea of expanding on how two of our existing emotions can become these other things, fear can be anxiety, joy can be love, anger can be pride and so on

I was hopping for different emotions like Energetic, Loyal, Brave, Craving, Beauty, relief
