I totally agree with you about the most Airbnb matteres are like sleeping on the stones. I was in another Airbnb in Kilimani and it was the same. But the lady was kind enough to change the materres for me which I really appreciated so much. Otherwise could have spoiled my stay 🙏🙏🙏

And as for transport, once you try all the other smaller cars and get disappointed, go for Toyota Prado. You have worked hard for your $ and when in Kenya, switch to vacation mode and enjoy your vacation to Kenya.

The mattress is not just hard, it's like a box spring with no mattress on top. You feel every spring on your flesh. My body aches. About finishings, they always don't do a neat job. Even on the roads

Set your budget at $100 a night and you will get a 3 bedroom all en-suite in Riverside drive

Even the bed is small being in the master bedroom

Are they spring mattresses? Suggest that they get a Hybrid or a Memory foam "9"-"15" inch,medium to firm.

Old Boilers are the worsed, they consume electricity. You won't love it. The owner should check on that, another budget no reason.

I have stayed at Edmor suites at Riverside Gardens, $100 gets you 3 bedrooms all en-suite plus DSQ, smart tv sets in all the rooms and they are 43 inches sets, and mattress similar to what I’m used to stateside.

Where is this I come and visit kaì mum?

That Airbnb is a joke in terms of furnishing. It’s spacious but the furniture don’t do it justice. The tv is ridiculously small and the walls are plain. Not even one art 🖼️. lol. I don’t like plain walls… give me something to look at 😂. The beds are too small too. But location and floor layout is so great. Hope the owner sees this comment.

That's quite a good price for such a place if only they could change the mattress

Those mattresses are a trick they use. They will tell u its good for your back but the reality is opposite. They buy those mattresses coz they are durable no spring in them so haziishi but backpain, legpains and musclepains due to the matress being too rigid can't be evaded. If you are there for a long stay, providing you with 3 blankets as toppers is not a solution, coz you will need to wash them on a weekly basis just like the bedlinen. And if they have had reviews from previous guests, why not do the right thing and replace the mattresses?

Yap it's like they don't care. I'm here for a month paying 4k a day and I've never enjoyed a good night sleep. You feel every spring on your bone. My body hurts 😫

Can you get your money refunded if you find another place. There's so many airbnbs in Nairobi. Otherwise, you may be able to get a cheap but comfy mattress for $100 or less and then gift it to someone as you're leaving. You seem to be enjoying yourself nonetheless. May the good Lord bless you with his protection and good health as you enjoy being back home. 🙏🏽
