I am counting this as an official appearance by me in a CNC Kitchen vid....twice even! Side of my head, back of my head. The sign I worked on for a few weeks made a glorious appearance as well. 07:20. Thanks for the quick chat, off camera, I am sure I will see you at the next awesome event, Stefan.

It was a pleasure talking to you!
The best thing about Open Sauce? Why meeting you of course Stefan! 😁 In all seriousness, meeting people was a major part of the enjoyment for me. From people I chat with online in the Voron community, to all the people with interesting projects, to people whose videos I watch on a regular basis. These interactions are even more precious after the pandemic.

Tons of thanks for bringing this event recap video! It was a BLAST to meet you guys there! See you very soon!
Less than a minute in and I'm jealous! Glad you went, and glad you got footage of the event :)
From all the videos I've seen, it looks like it was a super cool event - I hope it returns again in future!
I must say I'm subbed to about 19 of the featured guests! What an awesome group of people to have in one place!!
Great video! I was stuck at my booth all weekend, so thank you for showcasing some really interesting exhibits I haven't seen anyone else feature.
I am going next year for sure. Looks amazing!
Aww thanks for the PillBot shoutout! ❤ 4:34
Looks very fun and full with interesting people and projects! Do you know if the panel you did with Angus, Joel and Joseph was recorded, and available somewhere? I would love to watch it!
Looks like fun! This must have energized you, and I hope that energy carries you through 2023!
Another reminder of how great OpenSauce was! it was awesome seeing you and other creators, and meeting new people!
Now I regret not going. I didn't care about any of the people that were going to be there, but had I known you and Angus were going there, I would have shown up just to thank you for all of the science you've done! I'll definitely go next year if it's on the west coast again,
Double walled Ceramic mugs! Thank you!!!!
Brilliant rundown of different projects! Must’ve been hard to chose which ones to show… 🙌
10:00 Adrian Bowyer had made a similar approach, and had simulated the process, some 5-6 years ago at a talk /reprap festival
It was great fun to hang out over the pond! 🇺🇸 great memories

I'd love that!
That looks awesome. In the lead up to the event, I wondered if it was something I should try out, but got busy and also it seemed more like a gathering of KZreadrs and not something I felt a strong desire to check out. But seeing the coverage of it now, it's certainly on the list once a location and time become known. I would love it on the East Coast. I missed Maker Faire NYC (like watching the absurdity of Power Wheels racing)
holy shit dude great job this is awesome
So many amazing creators all in a common location. Perhaps an opportunity for creators to collaborate before/after future events.
Damn man, i recognized a lot of faces, and with that, the next year might be bigger. Very cool that you got to meet all of them. And it seemed to be an inspiring event. I'd LOVE to see you and Jon build one of those liquid tube printers, would be nice to see you guys team up on that, feels like there is a lot of potential there, especially for concepts and prototypes. Great vid man, glad you enjoyed it.
Had a great time at OpenSauce and would totally go again. It was very fun seeing all the weird creations like the typewriter hooked up to a command prompt, a cnc lightpainting effect system, the giant gameboys, the liquid + laser 3d printer setup you mentioned in the video, Grant's spiderbot, and even just a booth showing off all the gameboy carts with cool hardware and sensors in them. There was so much cool stuff and talking to the creators themselves so you can share ideas and ask questions was the best part. The panels were also pretty darn entertaining too :)
Good watch ty.
Loved the video! Just clicked because I saw a typo for swollow vs swallow in the thumbnail but I stuck around for the whole thing. 😁
I wanted to go to this event since I live in the city but my manager at work took his sweet time approving my time off request so by the time he got around to it the show was sold out. Pissed me off! Thanks for posting this so I at least get a glimpse of what I missed.
This was easily the best event I've ever been to (and many people I talked to would agree). It was extremely surreal to be surrounded by almost every youtuber I grew up watching on a regular basis, and everyone was extremely nice. I had great conversations with exhibitors, fellow guests, and even some unexpected youtubers I didn't expect to see there (like Jacksfilms and CodeBullet). Mad respect to William for organizing this, to the fans for taking a leap of faith in supporting the event, and content creators for clearing their schedule and flying in from all over the world. The entire experience was extremely fun and memorable, but some of my favorite moments included Adam Savage's touching talk, Electroboom shocking everyone on stage, and the little kid who roasted Joseph Prusa during your panel.
oh hey! My stuff is up in the first 12 seconds! Very cool thanks Stefan!
Great video, Stefan.
Wow so jealous! I wanted to go so badly, but its a long trek from the east coast!
I just turned very Green with envy! Thank you so much for showing my people in action. I don't think I follow everyone shown here on YT but I just sighed heavily realising I need to add a lot more subs to my already huge list of follows. I'm now wondering how I'm going to find the time to watch everyone hahaha The trip from Australia seems daunting so it's a good job I'm broke and poor :-)
Very amazing event, maybe one day I'll go too, who knows
Love how much fun you had and how much you love and enjoy it! Have a great time! But I'm missing Thomas Sanladerer a bit there.

Is there a place to watch recordings of the event?
this even looks like a gathering of all my youtube subs lol. the only one im missing is vscauce, he should be there just to support the naming of the event😂
Hi Stefan, you remind me of a former MotoGP champion, Valentino Rossi, my favorite racer. You both have great personalities and know your shit! :D I don't know if anyone has said you resemble him already, ( I imagine you must have heard this before in Europe), but just in case, I wanted to mention it. Glad you made it to the SF event. Thanks for all you do, from SoCal!
Seems like the whole thing went well enough that the next one should be even better!
Hey man would love to see a video of you comparing the strength between prints with the standard 0.4mm nozzle vs the less standard 0.6mm, 0.8, 0.2 and 0.3.
There is a typo in your thumbnail, it's swallow instead of swollow.
man amwesome stuff
From the feedback I have seen from all involved it looks like even though the event was run at a loss everyone had a great time and are looking forward to next year. Hopefully William can get a few sponsors due to the success that it was.

Wow so cool men!!! ❤
Open Sauce is an event I'm really sad I couldn't attend. I don't think there ever was an event with soooo many creators I watch regularly. cnckitchen, rctestflight, tom stanton, backyard scientist, integza, proper printing, codys lab, project air, ali spagnola, technology connections, aging wheels, nilered, the guy from opulo/pick&place machine, i did a thing, makers muse and probably even more I didn't know where there. Sadly its quite a trip from germany and I don't have a sponsor. 😅
Crunch brunch, obviously!
Stefan, I know you've tested infill geometry against strength, and wall count with strength, but could you compare wall count and/or infill geometry with temperature resistance? Perhaps materials such as PLA would become more temperature resistant and holder structure better the thicker they get.
There is no way I could get there and I am super jealous.
Were the projects featured there actually Open Source? The first few didn't seem to be - which is a bit off.
I enjoyed the panels and the giant 3ds the most
YAY! You've met the OG Myth Buster :D Ich könnte wetten, dass eine (viel viel) längere Fassung des Videos, auch den ein oder anderen Zuschauer begeistern kann. :) The footage looked like so much fun. Thanks Stefan!
Gee I sure hope it won’t implode as my esophagus crushes the submarine.
Please do a review of the P1S
richtig gut+
I really hope opensauce 2024 is more central US because I’m on the east coast
I think the axial lithography may benefit from a setup like a schlerin lens or whatever it's called. And I wonder what it would look like if they projected a hologram through it.
Will you be testing the Diamondback Nozzles? Would be nice with you opinion after testing. Is this my final Nozzle to bay?
