13:52 Conclusion
This is the Peak Design Everyday Backpack. Specifically the 30L version in midnight. It also comes in a smaller 20L variant. Which is more in line with what is allowed as a personal item on an airplane. Cool features like magnets in the padded straps that keep the straps from flapping around, hidden compartments everywhere on the bag, and the bag's smart compartment system that helps you divide up the space inside the bag. You can access the main compartment of the bag through the top, or the side flaps for access. And there's these dividers that you can use to separate the main compartment into different segments that are removable. The bag also feels really durable and is water resistant. It costs nearly $300, but if this backpack really interests you, I've attached it in the links down below.
The Orbitkey nest. It's this small and portable rectangular organizer and it looks good aesthetically. The lid can be flipped up, or taken off, to reveal the inside compartment. Inside can be organized with these tiny little velcro dividers, that help you organize all the little items you have. The lid also has room for papers, sd cards, Nintendo switch cartridges, etc. The lid houses a wireless charger on the left side. It has a usb-c port on the back to turn it on and you can remove the lid and use that solely as a wireless charger too. The nest itself is solid, so the body does not flex to fit the space it's in.
This is the Sony A7C. It's a full-frame mirrorless camera that's in the small body of sony's much smaller a6000 series cameras. It has all the benefits of Sony's larger a7 series cameras in a smaller, much more manageable package. And people are less intimidated by someone carrying a smaller camera around outside. It is a bit pricey, at $1800 for the body only, so I'll attach some similar, but much more budget friendly alternatives, like the great a6400 and a6100 down below.
This is the Peak Design Travel Pouch. It comes in a few different colors. The pouch itself is water-resistant but inside, it's filled with a bunch of pouches and zippers that open up like an accordion. It can fit quite a few items inside of it.
I have the M1 macbook air. Base model. Along with the 12.9in M1 iPad Pro. I like this combination because I could be using the macbook to get some work done, use the ipad for entertainment purposes, or combine the two to use as a dual screen mobile workstation. The 12.9in M1 iPad is a little large and really pricey, but currently that's my go to ipad, because I'm preparing for a review of it. I think the base model ipad, ipad air, or 11in ipad pro would do fine as a replacement to this for how I'm personally using it.

I like to carry lots of things to write with; pens, pencils, etc. Really helps when on an airplane and want to fill out customs forms. I also always make sure to have at least one of each type of charging cable (lightning, usb-c, micro usb), just so everyone with me can charge. I also like to carry a battery bank/power pack to re-charge on the go, or if there is no outlets to plug into.

Our edc is very similar. Same bag, I do pouches as well, a tech pouch for chargers and such and a moment fanny sling for camera lenses. I have the 11 inch iPad pro and the logitech combo touch. I run a fuji xt4 instead of Sony. And I keep an extra t-shirt (dad life) and an ll bean insulated anorak for a multiuser wind breaker, sweatshirt, rain coat.

I work outside and I'm on my feet for most of my shift so that 16oz water bottle isn't gonna cut it for me. Love the style of it though combined with the backpack, super clean.

Does the lid of the backpack cover the laptop compartment? If it’s on a separate zippered back side compartment it may get wet when it rains (through the zipper)

Separate. The laptop compartment is accessed via an external zipper. But the zipper is weather resistant. It's resistant enough that I've left it outside my tent multiple times while camping and my laptop and camera gear were perfectly protected from the morning dew, and I've been caught in the rain twice with it and my gear was perfectly dry.

Before i bought my everyday carry backpack from peakdesign (the V1° i was switching to a ne bag every 6 month in quest to the perfect one. Since i have it, no more switch, so no more money spent on it. In a way i saved money buying this one.

I have the largest version of this bag and love it, but would never recommend it as a normal backpack for its price. It is a camera bag and best suited and priced for interchangeable lens camera and drones.

$300 for a bag? What does it say my name and can I ask Siri to activate the Jetpack? That's ridiculous. Nah mate, I'll look for something that's more my style I wouldn't be able to fit half the stuff I had into that and also this looks more for the photography crowd which makes sense price wise. All I would really need is a bag with a USB C port instead of the standard one I got. I'm sure that doesn't cost 300.

@ I was genuine: that price is a rip off - if you're paying 300 for bags that size "genuinely" then you're supporting the crooks that are overcharging you - spend money on affordable products and you'll get more affordable products made by the same people. Pay stupid prices - and you'll end up with companies brown nosing you for otherwise normal products. Look up Basic Economics will ya? Or are you one of those "fashion trend followers" who are too stupid to figure out that Gucci bag isn't worth the money. 😂 Practicality will always overrule "looking good". I could "genuinely" look up a tutorial to replace my usb port to type C if I really wanted to but I guess people like you don't get it.

This bag is actually a camera bag. I have one and love it, but the reason I got the $350 backpack is because I carry around a $8000 camera and drone kit on hikes. It's way over kill for just a normal backpack unless you're a photographer. I use a Jansport bag for my actual EDC for work.
