Would be better if a VR headset was used. The whole cockpit still needs to be there for controls, but the screen would be better replaced with a headset. The only problem would be syncing a virtual cockpit to match perfectly with the real one, but that's just a surmountable challenge.

Mshojat No because in real life, it's not gonna be like a VR headset, it's gonna be you sitting in a cockpit.
Still cheaper then train simulator.

People don't realize these streetcars are huge machines and cannot stop on a dime, also they cannot move out of the way like a bus or truck.

It's not a "streetcar", it's a tram. It would be nice if Canadians ditched their American side and began to speak proper English. It's embarrassing.

If the people of this city call them streetcars, then they're streetcars. Embarrassing would be acting like language doesn't evolve, or pretending that a single regional dialect of a language used by billions was somehow the 'proper' one.

Better than having rookie drivers practicing in actual streetcars
