Great video. I have been close friends with Rod Emory since the first grade. When we were your age we were riding ATC's and Quads together. Thats why he has the collection that you seen in his shop. I'm extremely impressed and proud of my good friend Rod Emory.

The red car is a T6 Karmann Hardtop, at least a 1962. It is from the factory. It is basically a cabriolet with a hardtop welded in place. Some people cut the tops off to make cabriolets.

@@thestiglette No problem. Porsche outsourced the building of the bodies to a bunch of places during the 356 years. Most notably Reutter, Karmann, Drautz. Once they were done, they were shipped to the factory to mate up with the mechanicals and for final assembly. I think this was done to speed up production. There’s a cool video on KZread about the construction process.

I suggest you re-visit #46 shown at 12:20. No, it is not another re-furb.. it is the first Porsche raced. The 1st. And no it isn't "very unique".. it is the one and only #46. Also, there is no such thing as "very" unique, truly unique, singularly unique, most unique or any other kind of unique. Unique is a stand alone word; you cannot modify a superlative word. It is unique or it is not. Also.. go back to the "baby" blue car, exceptional and blown off. . The Karmann is a well known unique vehicle.. had one in 1986... offed it.. too much rust. Paid $900, sold for $1000. I also had a 1953 bent window 1500 Normal for which I paid $100 ( one hundred) in 1965. I sold it a year later for $1100. I was 19 at the time. Take some English and grammar lessons, stop watching CNN for the proper way to report, they are abysmally ignorant and laughable. I'll add to that anyone except possibly Fantom Works on the Motor Trend channel if you don't want to sound like a mouth breathing knuckle dragger. Be U N I Q U E ...be literate................... and bag the buzz words and auto jargon and colloquialisms of the present. Then I see you with a future. It would also help to do some research on your subject matter before you go on the air. Best of luck. PS... Rethink this line and this approach, says a lot about you.. you might consider changing focus.... "Come take a look with me at some of these classic Porsches.".. May I suggest taking out .... "with me".... ?

Melinda, while you are correct about the importance of the #46 car, as you watched the same excellent KZread video on that car that many of us have, you do, as mentioned above, exactly appear to be nauseatingly Arrogant, appearing to be some kind of “wanna-be” mean-spirited English instructor who mistakenly thinks that this is the correct place for a “tough love” term paper correction. While, in fact, for a video of this length with so much excellent subject matter to cover, it was quite well done, and presented the viewer with a very good overview of the event, especially for a mid-teen who never claimed to be an expert on the Porsche marque, and did not have any special contacts at or access to insider information at the facility being visited.
