They are such a lovely couple. I love how they both waited until the other was done talking to speak, and their goals for the house is so inspiring. I like how mature this family home design is. There is not too much of dad or mom space over their kids' spaces or family space. It's fun to see some actors home tour as they know how to use their space and furnitures to tell a story. It makes me want to see more acting from Jared as a dad in well written screen plays.

It's adorable seeing a healthy celebrity family they just seem so down to earth and normal

Jared is so enamored with Gen, the house, and their life together. May their love never waiver.

This is a true family home, they own furniture and not the other way around. Good for them! Kids must be happy growing up in that kind of environment.

Ok, THIS is my favorite AD episode so far. I love the focus on family and making the home functional and livable and cozy. I can tell that these children have great life here and don't feel like an impediment to their parents fancy home like some of these celebrities

I love that Gen's very chill at home comfort and style is felt throughout the house. And Jared's vibe is one of a kind. Unmatched by anyone I have yet to meet. A true Texas gentleman to his very core. I was fortunate to have met him, Jensen, Misha and Mark. And to my very big surprise they all helped my, now husband, to my surprise pop the question in Chicago 2017. And their awesome photographer Chris captured it all on film. One of the best days of my existence. Thank you for that again from the bottom of my heart... and thanks for allowing us a sneak peak into your beautiful home/life.

Things like that separate the celebrities from the people. Sure, both Jared and Gen are actors and have money between them, but the choices they make reflect down to earth simplicity. The chickens, the herbs, fruits and vegetables. The attention not just to beauty, but to functionality where their kids can be kids and still take pride in the home they have created for their family. Love it!

YES! Cozy, colorful, full of character! I see almost no grey/black/white! YES!

I'm glad these two are together and I hope they stay together! Family values down packed, great lifestyle and they have such a beautiful home!

A home that looks and feels like a home...even down to the little details of the stickers all over the kids beds, things that are broken - the outdoor ice machine, and their incredibly down to Earth personalities. I loved that things were high end...but not outrageous, like the Ralph Lauren pillows, an old patched chaise lounge, re-using their kids furniture and that things get messy. Probably the most normal celeb couple I've ever seen. Jared knocking stuff off the wall and his obsession with ice makers was charming. They probably have the house in the neighborhood where all the kids are.

They are so wholesome! I love this family and the Ackles family! Some of my most favorite people in the world.

This is not my style at all but it caught me off-guard because I adore it all. It's so warm and calming. Yes, it is very dark but when it's so hot it would be refreshing and cool and then in winter it would be warm and cozy with the fire on. I'm learning wallpaper is amazing and their backyard is perfection. Beautiful home with a beautiful family. Loved it!

this is the best HOME I've seen so far... it feels so familiar, welcoming an cozy. Very good taste, perfect lighting, furniture, colors, the BACKYARD, everything is perfect. I loved it a 100%. It will surely be an inspiration for my future house (sure not as expensive and big, but the essence is what matters). It's a home that does not make you feel like you're gonna break something anytime. It's safe. I loved it for real! ♡ Also they're such a charming couple. Love them and I'm so happy for them. ♡

This is how you spend money and time to create and maintain intimate relationships by curating wholesome experiences and memories for a lifetime. This commitment is evident in the use of artefacts, motifs, symmetry, design, organisation, harmony and enjoyment in the space. I like that house and grounds served the occupants of the home rather than was styled to pay homage to a particular brand, aesthetic, artist, period or movement.

This is without a doubt the most homey interior of a house that I’ve seen. Definitely taking notes for inspiration.

I obviously don't know Jared in person lol but 15:09 brought tears to my eyes, because I always felt him such a sweet, decent, polite, kind guy from Supernatural's season 1. Now to see him with Gen, who both met on the show, rejoice at this dream home, with kids, peaceful and exquisite atmosphere...I got kind emotional from the feeling of how they deserve to enjoy it all. S2 Ps: I'm not any less fangirling just because I am some boy fan from seasons 1-5. Stopped keeping up it with, but it is beautiful how long they've come.

What a beautiful home, I still can't get over it. One of the nicest in AD History.

this is truly one of the homiest homes ive ever seen. they talk so much about cosy and warmth and fun and usable, i think they've done a wonderful job of making it really feel like a place for a family (and friends).

This is a home worth its money spent on comfort. It's really lived in despite the grand exterior to the point where you don't even think about "hey, they make a lot of money". Good vibes all around with this house!

Somehow Jensen and Jared's home are so similar kind of vibe but their homes are unique in their own way at the same time. It kind of gives me the same cozy kind of vibe. I miss Supernatural :(

Jensen and Jared's home is not even close to similar....Just watch two videos side by side, and you will see that the difference is night and day. Jensen entire house is literally mechanical, which is meant only for show and then living... There is nothing practical in it, especially for the house with three young kids. Hell, there bias treatment towards JJ was clearly visible. Infact the comment section in itself tells you how impractical that house is and how awkward Ackles are. Not a single thing in that house is meant for kids.

This is the first house that I could move in to without wanting to change anything. What a home, I love it.

Hands down one of the best houses I have seen on this channel. 👏 it’s so balanced and practical and so many beautiful ideas in small noooks and crannies. Respect for everyone’s hobbies and private spaces ! And they also were practical about where and how they spend their money. I am so happy and proud for them

I didn’t think I liked farmhouse style homes until I saw this. I love their house, especially their back yard.

This is my dream home. I love the warm lighting throughout. It’s so nice.

I love how down to earth they are. Like something gets torn by kids and they fix it themselves instead of just going out and buying new.it was real nice to see them be so down to earth and most famous people say they are but very few show they are.

This is the most beautiful and normal at the same time house from these series. I love the vegetable garden and the chickens! And it is so cozy and homie. Not like all the other big designer mansions.

They are such a beautiful and lovely couple. The way he still look at her is just pure love. The house is gorgeous so cozy and warm. I love how thoughtful everything is and so kid friendly.

This family is so wholesome. Lol This house is amazing, it’s like a sophisticated child’s dream house.

I am so glad that it was nothing like their home in "The French Mistake" episode with the oversized pictures of himself hanging everywhere. Although I did expect to see an alpaca though. Beautiful and cozy.

LoL ... with their lifestyle, I think the moment Gen gets the urge to take up knitting an Alpaca might make it's way into the family! It would enjoy it's new home, that's for sure!

wow! of all the many beautiful Decor in houses I have seen - the fabrics, the colors together, in all the rooms, on chairs, beds, the rugs and curtains, the pillows -just plain everything - I think this house is the most attractive of all the hundreds I've seen in books or on videos. The "artist's eye" made the selections. Wow! gorgeous.
