I met her whilst I was interning at this entertainment company in Atlanta too. She walked in with LA Reid in mid 2006, she was wearing a blue jacket with jeans and heels and a white top. She actually introduced herself at the reception and mentioned she had an appointment with a photographer. I thought how humble of her, given she is a mega superstar. She is very soft spoken and sweet. She smelled like money too.

She stated, "All he kept saying was when are you going back on tour". He was gone a lot and she didn't know where he was. He wasn't a good husband towards the end. She wanted to leave and then he files for divorce claiming he made her career and he had no savings. He tried getting $25 million but ended up getting $5 million cash, 10 million settlement, their malibu home they once shared which reports found he use that house for dancers he was seeing while JJ was gone and he got a mercedes. Janet has always been my go to musical “therapy”, especially when I was a teenager. I basically grew up listening to both Michael and Janet Jackson. I’m Dominican American (both my parents are from the Dominican Republic, who met in NYC, lol). Anyways, I’m somewhat shocked about how she’s been treated by the men she’s had in her life. When I heard about that swine Elizondo, it disgusts me to this day what he did to her. I’m 45 years of age, have two kids of my own (my son is 24, and my daughter just turned 20), and I will always treasure Janet Jackson, both as a woman who’s suffered even though she is a wealthy woman, and as an artist I looked up to since the age of 8.
