Inside Jack Black's oddly amazing "Baby One More Time" vocal performance! His genius strikes again!

Музыка

(From Kung Fu Panda 4) Jack Black and Tenacious D get their awesomeness exactly because they know they are one big joke... (but not entirely) The vocals are always so unexpectedly top notch! From technique to taste, I'm always surprised. Let's learn how to put a bit of JB into our own voices! Free Voice Lessons: chrisliepe.com/free-your-voice/

What? Jack Black is an amazing singer.. Definitely need to check out "Dude I totally Miss you" ❤ Pick of destiny * also a amazing (sing-a-long) movie 🤟 saw it twice in the theater back when it came out. The Rocky Horror picture show I played Janet (once) Edit: that comment feels like crazy talk LOL *Tenacious D. Then for some reason bragging about something I did Once 🤣👈 Me❤

A lot of soul influence there too for sure. I get the feeling he would geek out around someone like Aretha Franklin. When I was young a lot of people used to write off Tenacious D as just being silly but the talent there is unreal.

Jables and Rage Kage are true icons in my eyes. Been listening to their amazing music for 20+ years now and they always just impress. Jack Black has such an amazing voice and truly knows how to use it. Also, I love how easily you can pick up how people make the different voices and turn them into speaking examples. Really shows how to do something that may not be easy to understand when someone is singing it like JB does.

Honestly, when I heard this song, I was so focused on Jack's delivery. I think what really makes a lot of it, is his confidence, something I wish I had. I can hear in this song how he was being playful, but not making any error note wise and delivery again, was exceptional. Thank you Chris for this review, and thank you for all that you do. You taught me how to scream and I definitely appreciate this review of Jack Black's version of Baby One More Time.

Not only is this better then the original, Jack blacks pure, sing how he feels like, carefree raw style is truly inspiring and is single handedly one of the greatest lessons in vocals, sing whatever feels comfortable to sing and just put your passion into it, not only will your singing improve, if your comfortable you'll naturally avoid hurting yourself, and you'll enjoy the process. Maybe no splicing or doubling and shear vocal agility but, to me, it sounds like it ("know") was cut and pasted from another take. Not detracting from your analysis's because they are always great, especially your sensitivity to artist's emotional projection. But i have noticed that you haven't taken studio editing into consideration in some spots in other videos.

What happened to his voice man. it's a mystery to me. I've never heard someone's voice change so much just from aging. His voice sounds detuned in both this and the song "Peaches". It sounds detuned by 2 wholesteps or so... Really miss his distinct, penetrating mid-range voice he had during the course of Tenacious D.
