Ever since being at the Walter Smith testimonial I always felt there was a great respect between Us and Liverpool that has only deepened since Gerrard came. Brilliant seeing this.

Liverpool football team and the 2 Glasgow teams have a lot of historical links through the religion thing already. Liverpool and Everton fans often support Rangers or Celtic as a 2nd team. Hopefully the Gerard factor sways more to the Gers. 👍🏻🇬🇧

It's pretty hard to be one of those things alone, imagine doing both, explaining trainings while training, going home and having to think more tactics and draw new schemes for the squad and thinking new exercises to practice in the next trainings, I get tired just thinking about it. That's not what I imagine when I think about retiring hahahahahahaha

i am a Liverpool supporter but i have always said that once Rangers got into their stride they would end Celtic's dominance of Scottish football and i got laughed at, but who's laughing now as Rangers have done just that and they have a couple of ex Liverpool players to boot, well done & CONGRATULATIONS to Stevie G and and all the players and staff at Rangers FC, as you made Celtic eat their words because when they won their ninth title in a row all their players boasted that they were going to make it 10 in a row

@@tonyp011 Celtic are by far the most dominant team in Scottish football at the moment financially. Once Rangers win at least 5 league titles in a row then we can say they are the most dominant, but right now it seems odd to say that Rangers have broken Celtic's dominance when Celtic have won the most trophies in the past 50 years and have been the most successful in that period. If Rangers can keep winning trophies then yes they will become the dominant team of Scottish football, but right now Celtic still have the upper hand whilst Rangers need to largely downsize after making consecutive losses of money over the past decade. In other words, Rangers need to sell players to break even, or they could qualify for the Champions league group stage. Celtic also need to sell players because their team is a shambles. Will be interesting to see the outcome of next season for sure.

I agree for me, he was my all-time favourite players, however, that injury killed him. Prior to that injury, I had never seen anything like him as a player. I hate McLeish for not playing him when he came back from the injury also.

Stevie G, such a legendary player and did well as Rangers manager. Respect!
