Guys, Santa Pauli isn‘t risque it‘s just in the middle of one of the worlds most famous red light districts. That‘s what frightens the people. But as long as you stay on the Main Street „Reeperbahn“, where Santa Pauli is, you‘ll be more than just fine. Even in the middle of the night. The clubbing and strip scene and stuff is mostly in the parallel streets and surrounding but the concept of Santa Pauli is just to be as diverse, alternative and colorful as the rest of the city. Little kids are going there and it‘s normal for us Hamburgers to live with the open minded scene and the importance of all that without getting affected by it in any dangerous way. It‘s just a biiiiiig area of fun, party and beautiful people of all nationalities, genders and sexualities. I‘m happy that you guys „liked“ it in the end but I bet you would‘ve even more, if you stayed until late night:)

Oh for sure!!! We honestly aren't bothered by it at all & definitely encourage people to check it out & enjoy it because it really is so inclusive/welcoming. Had we been there a bit longer then we definitely would've visited later in the evening, but just not filmed LOL. I can assure you that next time we visit Hamburg at Christmas time, this will be the place we spend the most time at!!! Thank you so much for giving more context behind the market & our sincerest apologies if we portrayed the market negatively in any way. It really is a blast at the Santa Pauli Market!!

Love this one! Been to Hamburg and several other beautiful cities in Germany, we do practically the same here in Austria, Christmas markets in every town, Hannah looks like a kid in a candy store, you guys look so happy and this makes me smile. 😀

We had a BLAST in Hamburg!! One of our friends from college lives in Hamburg so she gave us a tour of the city the day before we filmed this & we fell in love with it. I honestly had no idea what to expect prior to arriving but I'm SO glad we stopped here first. It really set the tone for the rest of the series!!! Thank you so much for tuning in Eddy!!!❤️

Sounds like my wife's ideal Christmas (or any time really), visiting dozens of Christmas markets. I'll be curious which city turns out to be your favourite. I can imagine Koln being good, right underneath the Dom.

We just filmed a couple days ago in Koln & honestly, it's the best so far I think🤣 It's seriously unbelievable. Every market is so well decorated. You've got to take your wife to a few of these, she'd LOVE it!!!
