I agree. But to be fair and play devils advocate, as a big man it’s the job of point guards esp vets like Conley to feed Kat, and also the coaching staff to make that a game plan. Of course it’s disappointing bc Kats getting older now so he needs to step up w how talented he is, but not entirely his fault when it’s a guard dominated and controlled game now. When Philly plays everyone on the team knows exactly where the ball is going and it’s not just bc embiid demands it

Ernie made a valid point. If stats from play-in game aren't counted towards reg season NOR playoffs, where do they go?? Imagine scoring 50+ or first triple double or whatever first big game you have & other than tape of game, there's no proof & doesn't add to your career stats. Tf

NBA actually fun to watch when they play defense. Notice the scoreline in a game that had an overtime.

They were playing great all game then stopped doing what was working. They got stagnant and started going 1v1. I’ll never understand going away from what’s working. Sure the Lakers defense stepped up but that don’t mean you stop the player and ball movement

I'm pretty sick of the rose colored glasses view on the Lakers. They're mediocre, almost losing to the worst team in the play-in (with the guys missing for the Wolves). It's like listening to Knicks fans for the last 10 years. Wow, you made the playin and won against a horrible team that just imploded and quite literally beat themselves.

KAT going back to his HS habits. Came into Kentucky as a player that wouldn't feel comfortable in the post, Coach Cal had him add that to his game in that ONE year. Now he's back doing his old stuff due the the expansion of the game. Guard trapped in a bigs body. Difference between him and AD rn, AD is the 3 level scorer

This is exactly where experience comes to play, T-wolves had 14 seconds to play the last position but they rushed it, they could have planed it out with a good enough three attempt then go from there but the didn't, their big man wasn't even ready for the off rebound. But still a close game.

Towns has low BIQ, Edwards choked, that steal in OT and they on a break, AND HE PASSED! Real stars would had go down hill, take the contact and make the shot especially a guy smaller than him in Dennis that's the only one under the rim.

You don’t have to post up to take advantage of size. Great bigs like Duncan or pau are able to take their man off the dribble , use their bodies and attack as well especially when it’s a size mismatch. So yeah they’re right when they said Kat taking step back jumpers over midgets is a preffered shot for the defense

@@Jarekx2007 Edwards take the contract, Dennis was in the middle of under the rim, I. The restricted area. It's a fast break and his first instinct would be to try and stop Edwards. Also even if he moves out of the way, they would be down one and force Lakers to make 2.

Its playoff basketball ya'll. Things tighten up...defense gets more physical. I was disappointed that the lakers didn't win in an easier fashion, but they won. I am actually feeling ok that they found a way to grind it out and leaned on a defense that they didn't have to start the year. Relax. Should be a great series against the Griz.
