best part about this channel is the host is a real firefighter and he understands more than a normal person. You get bonus points for that.

I'm not a firefighter. But I am a fan of our firefighting heroes and the equipment that they use. I live in the city of Baltimore, MD. And I must say, you are a phenomenal host. Your presence, delivery, and knowledge of the various firefighting and medical apparatus, and being a firefighter yourself, makes viewing this channel truly interesting. Because of your enthusiasm, I decided to volunteer as a firefighter at a nearby station in Baltimore County. I've only been watching your channel for a short period of time. But each time that I watch channel, I learn something new. Sending love and gratitude to our neighboring firefighting and medical heroes in the state PA, MD, and all around the world. McMahan Fire Department is another Fire Department that has a pull through area in the back of the station and it was being used after a fire run, Fairdale Fire Department only used theirs to pull the Quint unit in after a fire run as well.

That light yellow helmet is actually a german one, the patches next to it also say "Freiwillige Feuerwehr" (Voluntary Firedepartment) pretty cool to see that they visited my country

@@HeroesNextDoor are you guys planning any tours outside the USA I understand with the coronavirus the border is not open but when it can get better can you try coming to Canada to doe some or you are only filming in the USA Canada would like to see you doe tours here

Looks more like a VFW or FOP Lodge, which is awesome. Guys should be able to relax, decompress, and hangout between calls.

Nice! I live in Westchester, you should check out White Plain’s Station 3. We have a collapse and a spare currently acting as our normal engine 67. Great firefighters.

Great video! I really enjoyed it! The display of a piece of steel from the Twin Towers was heartbreaking. I can only imagine that firefighters throughout the world were deeply affected by that day. You are all indeed heroes!

Yeah right now we're posting full videos every Wednesday and then some shorts throughout the week. The station cribs videos will be probably every 3-4 weeks

Absolutely love this channel to see what is happening to fire services in the USA. Love the live in program maybe it would help our retained (volunteer) fire fighter's in the UK/Ireland.

Honestly 🇺🇸 fire trucks seem so much more advanced compared to our fire engines here in the 🇬🇧☹. I Honestly wish we used red emergency lights instead of blue. Atleast on our fire engines 🤷🏽‍♂️

Is there anyone who has experience with live-in programs? I like the idea behind it and think it could be adapted in other countries. What do your live-ins do in the department? How many years do the live-ins live inside your department?

The one sucky person that did dislike it though..

I don't know how it's set up where they are but when I was growing up in rombout fire rescue in Fishkill New York and my mom was a fire police officer she actually had to get sworn in as a real police officer at the county courthouse and had arrest authority on fire scenes only
