Joshua prior to losing to ruiz would have been awesome vs ngannou. Joshua was a maniac swinger when undefeated as that would have been interesting. As wilder wouldnt bomb with Francis as he would use his exp and him being tall to get guaranteed decision win on Francis.

@@Theek001 In reality, its the opposite: Wilder would put Ngannou out in seconds. But Fury hits "lightly" enough that he'll have Ngannou on his feet pelting him with shot after shot for 10 rounds. Nearly all in-ring deaths occur after an accumulated beating, usually from that extra bit of damage done in the final round, where the losing fighters brain swells up post fight, they go into a coma, and dont recover. That's not gonna happen here, but ironically fighting Fury will shave more years off Ngannou's career & life than Wilder would

Tyson thought about this and was like easy pay day. Ngannou doesn't stand a chance in the top 10 heavyweights let alone fury. Fury has a good heart and he's given Francis a pay check along with himself.

We're not seeing Francis sparring, which is a whole other thing even in training. Hitting the bag or pads in no way answers wether a man can take a punch, bore through a defense, or adapt to his opponent when his bell gets rung. I like Francis but admit to Fury's mastery of the sweet science. I'd just like to see Francis humble him for his brashness.

I wonder why Francis didn't start with boxing but directly with MMA. He often uses jab, cross and uppercuts, few or no kicks, and sometimes wrestling moves, but he uses many times movements and techniques of boxing... during MMA fights. It's clear that is more suited for boxing.

He initially started with boxing but he was homeless when he came to France. So the coach at the boxing gym asked him to fight in a local mma tournament so he could earn some money and he won so inorder to earn money and able to survive in a foreign country he took mma.

Even if Ngannou lands the lucky punch on Fury, this is boxing: Fury has 10 seconds to recover, will get up, and win the rest of the fight. He did it against Wilder in two different fights, who hits harder and is a better finisher in a boxing context; Fury got up from Wilders shots and WON the rest of the round. So Ngannou has no chance of winning essentially. Best he can hope for is a moment of drama.

Francis will win for 3 reasons 1. Deontay wilder does something in every fight, called (Bomb squad) where he throws punches one after another until they other guy falls, against fury we haven’t seen it. 2. Tyson is training francis 3. Fury hasn’t fought someone who will hit back just hard as he hits them, francis is coming to win, not a payday effort,….
