Today you Take A Look Inside European Extremely Large Telescope. When its construction is completed, it will become the world’s largest optical near infrared extremely large telescope. Part of the European Southern Observatory it is located on the top of Cerro Armazones in the Atacama Desert of northern Chile.
The Extremely Large Telescope is an astronomical observatory currently under construction. First Phase of Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

What a lackluster reading of basic stats about the telescope.

A lot of the video here is not from the ELT, but from the finished 20 years old VLT observatory with its four similar telescopes and its interferometry instruments. Rather sloppy production. Disappointing that no new video material from the current state of building the new observatory is here.

Designed to last only 30 years. There's telescopes that have been around over 100 years.
