Inside Chicago Bears new $5 Billion Stadium
The Chicago Bears have unveiled their plans to build a spectacular new stadium on the city's waterfront.
The stadium is expected to hold 65,000 people, with a target of opening by 2028.
The Bears say the area will be used by the community all year long, with a park-based culture and focus on recreation.

I still think Arlington Heights will come to the forefront again. They own the land and basically can build whatever they want there. I know the tax thing is an issue. But Arlington seems so logical.

*70,000… plus it’s not just the stadium it’s everything around it. Restaurants, retail, parks, concerts… grow up

@@3bonbot Warren says its 65k. Unless you provide an article stating otherwise. Plus the surrounding Infrastructure downtown doesn't benefit the Bears from a revenue standpoint

I don’t understand why a city should pay for billionaires to get richer and pay for a stadium with lots of taxes and have to pay for seats again every weekend.
