Inside Bombardier Global 7500 Cockpit: The Ultimate Review

Bombardier Global 7500 Cockpit: The Ultimate Review
0:00 - Intro
This is the Bombardier Global 7500, and its cockpit is a testament to the company's commitment to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in business aviation. Here is everything you need to know about the cockpit of the Bombardier Global 7500.
0:37 - Cockpit
Upon entering the cockpit, the first thing that strikes you is the clean, ergonomic layout that boasts an advanced avionic suite. Branded as the Vision Flight Deck, the avionics in the Global 7500 are the latest iteration of Collins Aerospace’s Pro Line Fusion system.
You are greeted by 4 large displays arranged in a T format. Each pilot has a primary flight display right in front of them, flanked by two multifunction displays in the center. The displays work in conjunction with a head-up display system, an enhanced visual system, and a synthetic vision system.
The cockpit is also equipped with advanced fly-by-wire technology with side stick controllers. Next up is the autothrottle system, a salient feature that reduces pilot workload by automatically controlling engine power settings.
The cockpit also features a range of navigation and communication tools, including a graphical flight planning system, MultiScan weather radar with wind shear detection, and the latest performance-based navigation features. These include a wide area augmentation system, localizer performance with a vertical guide approach, and area navigation. Additionally, the aircraft is equipped with an onboard maintenance system, datalink, high-speed SATCOM, a new-generation cabin management system, and pilot data link communication.
The flight deck also features the company's state-of-the-art cockpit voice and flight data recorder.
The Global 7500 employs a dark cockpit philosophy, which emphasizes ease of operations and reduces pilot workload, contributing to the simplicity of a less-than-10-minute engine start operation. Furthermore, the cockpit is equipped with unprecedented automation features that remain firmly at the service of the crew. Examples include fully automatic fuel transfer and cabin pressurization management, and start-up sequences that are greatly simplified compared to those of other business jets.
5:00 - Flying Experience
Now, let’s talk about the flying experience. Starting the engines is a straightforward process, thanks to the dark-cockpit philosophy that the company has adopted.
After advancing the power levers until the autothrottles take over and set maximum power, and the Global 7500 accelerates rapidly.
Once in the air, the Global 7500 truly shines. The fly-by-wire flight control system makes handling this large jet a breeze, and provides a unique and responsive flying experience.
In-flight, the Global 7500 is a joy to fly. The aircraft is responsive and easy to control precisely. The FBW system enables engineers to fine-tune handling, making the aircraft pleasant to fly.
Landing the Global 7500 is equally straightforward. The FBW system provides a host of protections and assists, ensuring a smooth and safe landing.
Once on the ground, the nosewheel steering system, which can turn the nose 82.5 degrees and within a minimum pavement width of 75 feet or 23 meters, makes maneuvering on the ground a breeze.
Shutting down the engines is as straightforward as starting them, thanks to the FADEC system, which automatically manages the shutdown process.
9:03 - Engine and Performance
Talking about performance, the Global 7500 is powered by 2 GE Passport engines, each producing 18,920 lbs of thrust. The aircraft requires 5,760 feet or 1,756 meters of runway to take off. The engines allow a maximum rate of climb per minute of 3,500 feet or 1,070 meters, and a maximum cruising altitude of 51,000 feet or 15,545 meters. The plane has a maximum speed of Mach 0.925, a high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90, and a typical cruise speed of Mach 0.85, with an average hourly fuel burn of 500 gallons or 1,900 liters.
The jet has a maximum range of 7,700 nautical miles, which is 8,860 miles or 14,260 kilometers, and a minimum landing distance of 2,240 feet or 682 meters, with a maximum net payload of 5,700 lbs or 2,585 kg.
10:22 - Purchase and Charter Price
The base purchase price for a new Global 7500 is $75 million before options, and the charter price is estimated at $14,000 to $25,000 per hour. Naturally, prices will vary depending on availability, fuel prices, ground fees, and more.
10:42 - Operating Cost
While the annual fixed cost is roughly $1 million to $1.5 million, the average hourly operating cost is estimated at $7,000 to $10,000.

@@omega_od419 Jesus of Nazareth is Son of God, the Prince in the Kingdom of God, God's name is Lord YEHOVA. The Lord God YEHOVA gives life, he also gave his Son the power and authority to give life. When God created everything including us humans, he created us through his Son Jesus for Jesus. The Son of the Lord YEHOVA, Jesus of Nazareth is to be worshipped by us humans, that's how God honours his Son. The Messiah Jesus is the mediator between us humans and God, no one goes to God accept by Jesus. When Jesus the Son of God came down from heaven as the Holy Spirit, he entered the womb of a virgin woman Mary and then he became human flesh, he made himself a human being. After he was crucified on the cross, he was resurrected by Lord God YEHOVA his father from the dead and after some time he got caught up in the air and went back to heaven, everybody who was there watched him as he went up in the air, got covered by the clouds, went back to be with his Father the Lord YEHOVA, the True and Living God. Lord Jesus of Nazareth has his own thrown in Heaven, because he is the Prince in the Kingdom of God, he commands the Angels and everything under God, for everything was created by God his Father through Jesus and for Jesus, for God loves his Son Jesus. Lord Jesus is to be worshipped also for he is the image of his Father the Lord God YEHOVA and The Lord God himself recognizes his Son Jesus as God also, but off course the Lord God YEHOVA is greater than The Lord Jesus of Nazareth.
