I have a lot more respect for Bayern than the other European mega-clubs. Off the pitch they have the perfect financial model. They have made a profit 24 years in a row, don't have a single penny of debt, and look after their fans very well with the the cheapest ticket prices out of any of the major clubs in the big European leagues (even Dortmund charge higher ticket prices I believe). On the other hand Barcelona and Real Madrid are dodgy and shady to the core, and benefit from a lot of unfair advantages, including a long-standing ridiculously unfair distribution of La Liga TV money in Spain, state/municipal aid, dodgy tax breaks and cosy relationships with the banks. Despite that they both have a lot of debt and Barcelona have regularly struggled to turn a profit and have needed bank loans to cover their overdraft, which is a disgraceful. On the flip side the Bundesliga TV money is very fairly split between the 18 teams, so Bayern don't have any unfair advantages there. If Barcelona and Real Madrid were forced to run their finances properly and responsibly like Bayern, then they wouldn't have anywhere near as much success on the pitch as they currently do. All their 'unfair' financial advantages help them in the Champions League as well as La Liga.

India is a big untapped market. I agree with this statement. But according to me, setting up a league similar to EPL or Bundesliga is not a way to go. Much work on football awareness (and sport awareness in general) and on grassroots needs to be done right now, so that the market (people in India) will be ready for such leagues in 10 years.

They are Germany's best club and only that. They suck against other top Premier League teams or La Liga teams.
