F104 was my first ever RC kit back in 2012. It's hard to control and I trashed it a lot, but it's an extreme fun car and I still have in my room after a decade. It's actually easier to setup, repair, and upgrade compared to touring cars thanks to its simple structure and lower part counts, and it's a lot faster to boot.

Grea job. I can't remember seen these cars with receiver batteries. Even in the 80s they had expensive and for us unpayable ESCs.

Had them shipped in directly from Japan. But I heard there’s some on the way to the US.

The cars were in fact powered by Duracell as well.

Does Formula1 RC use a 17.5T motor or a 21.5T motor by the rules?

Most use 25.5T. The cars are light and little suspension you don't need alot of motor to be fast.
I was hoping Duracell would have stepped up their game..people have been putting together battery packs for decades.
