By chance, the house had remained untouched for three decades and required structural assistance.
The build was found to be quite a stressful process as a first-timer. The overwhelming feeling came from the abundance of choices and decisions to make. It was known by everyone around that her trajectory was into interior design, adding a lot of pressure to ensure it turned out great.
The main work on the house included replacing the rickety stairs, reconfiguring the layout for an open plan with a spacious kitchen dining area and a second bedroom, and raising the first-floor level to improve the basement's ambiance.

I love these tours. The homes are so different from the grey and white flips with their tick box approach and shop bought memories. This is a beautiful home, albeit that the kitchen is not my style and there is perhaps too much to dust. @6:58, I have one of those wooden clothes dryers that I found in a pop-up sale.
A maximalist that loves life and their treasures.

The interior is inviting and the furniture and accessories are lovingly placed....It shows the many interests of the home owner and tells a story....Congratulations!

I'm a minimalist but i really am liking the vibe of this place. I could go for this only if all the hidden storage spaces were 80 percent empty. All the kitchen coverts, all the closets, all the chest of drawers, the attic, and the garage has been meticulously decluttered. It took 8 years and I a nearly there. It has not been easy, very hard to get rid of items you might be able to use later on, especially when your on a tight budget, so everything was difficult and a struggle. Bargaining with one's self what to let go of but with perseverance I got there.
So beautifully curated. I’m so sick of grey and white and emotionally cold surfaces.
Colorful, yet so elegant, every piece of furniture is perfectly placed, thank you for sharing ❤

If you have a very good taste and like to collect all the beautiful things you see.....With half of the collection it would be lovely.....Difficult to make choices, but you can put the too much in boxes and sometimes change your interior...
Perhaps a lovely home, but what a frustrating video.

@@InsideHome00 A more closely synchronized narration. Notice we are looking at the stairs by the time you mention the never pictured acrylic table? I appreciate that you are not speaking the entire time. However, I feel that each featured room should be addressed with at least one comment. The background music ending is distracting.
