    You are NOT supposed to flush tampons. They clog up the sewer line. That’s why a bag and receptacle is available in ladies rooms.

    Good video... the abandoned stairways are just the victims of trying to utilize the main floor as much as possible... pretty common to see when places have been through several layouts and remodels.... that is what the new stairs is for.... and for the one in the 2nd level going to the 3rd level... they just hadn't got to removing the existing framing up there.. you can see it was going to be all open... and the door at the bottom would have been framed over and moved.. again, simple and very common... I would have loved to see that 3rd level... my guess it was going to be a living quarters or something for the owner/manager... as it was appearing to be like an apartment,not an entertainment area...

    So I’ve worked in clubs before. The 15-20 min rotation is basically yes about the girls. Typically if enough are working one should be on “main stage” for 2-3 songs then move to a different stage so the next girl can come up and so on. It abruptly closing down could have been a number of things but the most likely would be prostitution/sex of any kind in the club cause that is not allowed at all what do ever at any location. Does it happen? Yes. Often probably? Yeah most likely but when they get caught/if enough people are caught up in it they’ll shut it down.

  • @alyssanicole9004

    For those unfinished upstairs areas: they could have been turning that into the “vip area” (champagne rooms what ever you wanna call it all) or since there was a shower it’s also possible they were gonna turn that into a new area for the girls to get ready. Personally I think stairs in a club are dumb cause most require you to START at a 6inch heel and some heels are 8-9+ inches!

    Also cameras in the dressing rooms: not too uncommon. They’re not in the bathroom of course and it’s not like management and coworkers don’t see you in your birthday suit anyway lol. Typically it’s to help prevent theft or drug usage but in this case it also sounds like it’s due to other people who shouldn’t be down there being down there.

    23:37 to answer this question: yes you’re technically a 1099 employee. At least most of them cause you typically don’t work a set schedule or make an hourly rate. BUT you have to pay to work. It’s usually called a house fee and I’m assuming that’s what this “locker room” fee is too. Last one I worked at had house fees and fees you had to pay out to management and then if you did private dances then the club also made 5 bucks per dance/song you did. House fees also varied with the time. Say I wanted to go in at 11 am when it opened I may only pay 10 bucks and have no management fees to pay out, say I gave 6 dances and charged 20 a dance which is what the things customers saw said it was then that’s 120 I made with 30 of that going back to the club (5*6 equaling 30). Hope that helps a bit

  • @alyssanicole9004

    @alyssanicole9004

    The locker room fees for the food and drink and stuff is when house moms were a thing. Covid took that away from a lot of clubs for the longest but there’s usually a few ladies that would work the locker rooms and have snacks, drinks, supplies, out fits for sale all the good stuff. I almost forgot that! The first one I worked at had that but the house moms only ever expected 5-10 max from the girls. But yeah you pay to work basically

    The reason the stairs are cut off is because probably at some point in time this building wasn't a strip club. It could have been an office building or some kind of building with multiple storefronts. When it was made into a strip club, the owners sort of combined all parts of the building into one. You see this commonly in buildings like houses that have been cut in half to become duplexes. Sometimes you have doors that open onto brick walls or stairs that go nowhere.

    Interesting clip and exploration. My guess is this building was some type of store (maybe grocery?) at one time. That would explain the various staircases. As far as the staircases going nowhere: most city codes just require one staircase in a small commercial building per floor. In the basement there was also an emergency exit to the outside. Multiple staircases take up main floor club space. As far as the second floor is concerned that part was gutted sometime ago, probably at one time an apartment for the store owner. You can tell the age by looking at the wood framework. It has discolor from age. The key was the bathtub/shower combo in the back. Something I noticed as you were going back down the stairs was the removable piece of the stairs next to the fairly new grey exit door. Since this area probably wasn't used much, they probably did a quick job to bring it up to this city's code. Another thing that says this might have been a store is that there are two large walk ins. One looks much newer than the other. The area that smelled has the older cooler it looks like. I'm a fan of architecture and I look for details that indicate age and add ons. Thank you for the exploration and hope this answers a few questions.
