Wow. Top-notch. I'm from Hyderabad and travel to Bangalore twice a month. Although, TSRTC operates buses, they are inconvenient as seats are narrow and due to poor maintenance, travel is always a nightmare and hence, people opt for private buses. I did travel by KSRTC Airaavat and Ambari. These buses are clean and are punctual. Moreover, staff are very well groomed to respect their passengers. Buses are on-time too and with prices being less compared to TSRTC, KSRTC is the best choice for traveling to BLR. Good job :)

Karnataka public transportation is best.. they keep on trying giving best service, but still it has to increase... And kudos to people of the Karnataka who support their public transportation

While our roads are complete garbage imagine running these vehicles. The Manglore-Bangalore road is one of the worst and it's NH75 too.

Karnataka RTC is great 👍. The buses are clean , staff courteous and they drive well. Recently travelled in Ambari utsav. They were doing a constant speed of 80-90 throughout.

I love KSRTC. I always take KSRTC to travel to Hyderabad, my home city.

I travelled to HYD from BLR with my sons. It is an awesome experiences. Great feeling and a smooth flowing ride. Kudos to KSRTC, Best public transport. Again Karnataka is the the best & has made it the best in bus public transport. Drivers are professional, kind, understanding, approachable, on time, great customer experience. The only thing is - people should also follow the same , be descent, dignified, clean, neat, and show appreciation & gratitude.

I still remember back in 2018, I came to Banglore from Delhi, I had a function to attend in Mysore I booked KSRTC bus days before arriving and I still remember it was a white Scania bus. It was a comfortable and short journey. I enjoyed it.

The KSRTC range of buses r simply amazing & r much better than many of the private operators. Not the these even the local buses r really well maintained & the Bus drivers r well trained & humble.

So good to hear such fine words of appreciation for KSRTC yes I have always used KSRTC right from 1975.

Karnataka buses are one of the best in the world no other state buses can match it .... But why do states have Dakota buses especially in Andhra , TN,Kerala ....

It can be challenging for businesses that rely on this route for transportation, such as bus companies, to maintain their vehicles and operate efficiently. However, it is important to keep in mind that the road upgrade may lead to long-term benefits for the transportation industry, such as reduced travel time and improved safety. The upgrade may also attract more business and tourism to the region, which could ultimately increase demand for transportation services. In the short-term, bus companies operating along NH75 may need to adjust their operations and budgets to account for the increased maintenance costs and potential decrease in ROI. This may include reducing the frequency of trips or increasing ticket prices to cover the additional expenses. @@sewerrat Roads will only reduce the wastage of fossil fuel and carbon emissions. Green covers, such as trees and vegetation, have the ability to regenerate fully within a few years. Evey product that u use under the sun has a carbon foot print attached only thing we can do is reduce it.

@@ashwithullal You're wrong. Once destroyed, they don't grow back for half a century. We do coffee farming in Balehonnur, Chikmagaluru. Many people are opposed in this region to mindless expansion of roads. You can only add so many lanes to highways, it produces more traffic and induced demand. Railways on the other hand is comparatively less destructive. Can handle both passenger and freight traffic if done right. People of Malnad region will benefit if we can sell our produce to both Mangalore and Bangalore.

Karnataka rtc is miles ahead when it comes to public transport. Wish Kerala rtc learned something from them in terms of professionalism.

I've been traveling in sleeper buses like this from Delhi to Dehradun since last 3-4 years. They are good.

It's Volvo 9600 and launched in India in Sep 2022 in its Bangalore factory. KSRTC was the 1st to adopt it in India. And how can you travel 3-4 years in a bus that launched in Sep 2022. Don't lie 😂😂 Accept that your state govt can't provide these kind of bus services. Don't argue by lying and making fake statements.

Kudos to KSRTC for thinking to bring in swanky buses to match the private bus players and thinking of providing comfortable travel. Good to see newer comfortable and luxury transport operations are being developed in India to make travel more worthy and change the way of travel for Indians. South India in this respect is quite better with roads even in interiors in a better condition and with newer expressways coming up connecting major cities and towns, travel for people is going to be more cherishable. Hope the roads become even more better day by day. Sleeper buses are a good option because not everybody is comfortable sitting for long hours or sleeping in sitting mode. Only wish that the roads also become equally good day by day so that travel by buses become more safer and smooth. And there should always be control check on the speed of the buses as with new swanky look and technology as well mainly to reach quicker, the drivers tend to ignore safety rules and drive fast which are quite risky for the passengers.

@@esparian4775 Yes, motto of our KSRTC is Comfort, safety and etc for long distance travellers, that's why. But people keep on commenting though their state cannot provide such facilities 🙌🏻

As a Tamilian who grew up in Bengaluru, I'm proud of Karnataka, way more progressive and advanced than Chennai.

KSRTC website is the only Govt Website which doesn't feel like its built by the Govt..

KSRTC is my favorite road transport corporation and I used it extensively during 2007-2023 period. They have constantly upgraded and maintained high quality. I appreciate KSRTC's professionalism and wish you more heights in future. My feedback is genuine, not for hurting any feelings, and intended for future improvement. Donot take it negatively, if you do, it is none of my business. I traveled twice last week to and from Ernakulam to Bangalore. I got the last lower double berths. The driving and bus design is good, but the beds with built in pillows are all in plastic and the staff still keep that cheap New plastic covers also. For the last lower berths at the back, The bed was too hot since the insulation from engine noise is very bad. AC was on fan and it was so hot. Engine noise is horrible at the back and i can’t believe Volvo has done this kind of cabin insulation. Overall, a forgettable experience if you are choosing the last lower berths. Overall 8/10 is my rating.

KSRTC Caters different buses and based on amenities, i recommend you to use other buses like Airavatha Clubclass, Diamond class, and fly bus, corona, suhasa, Rajahamsa and many other.

KSRTC is the best in terms of transport. Travelled numerous times from BLR to PUNE and it is always on time.

Ksrtc luxury buses are excellent . Their service is also very good. I have travelled several times from Mumbai

I have traveled on this Bus in Maharashtra, it's really comfy. I loved it.

Proud to be from Karnataka. I always use Ksrtc buses over any private buses although I belong to a city (Hubli) where VRL was born and it's a biggest transport company in the world. But I always prefer Ksrtc over vrl.

Ambaari Utsav (9600) is not much different from Ambaari dream Class (9400 I guess), from a passenger perspective. What I felt is that, the AC is less cold compared to Ambaari dream class sleeper (travelled twice in this bus). The tickets are 200 Rs costlier w.r.to Ambaari Dream Class. Did not feel any different from Ambaari dream class, other than some cosmetic changes. Don't remember if Dream class had the lumbar support or not.

Neat & clean buses of KSRTC. Great job

I have been frequently travelled in KSRTC to my native, believe me we have world class public transportation.❤💛

Yes it is...As out of 96K marathas more than 90k+ are decendent of chalukyas and rastrakutas which are Kingdoms of Karnataka so ancient history wise it has more connections with culture wise as well...

I prefer train over bus but for the first time when I saw Airavat bus in Hyd, I was awestruck, felt it’s some very costly luxury bus and we (train commuters) cannot go for it. But I still admire their bus design, naming and its keep up.

All thanks to the central government/s and Indian Railways, they did not focus much on building transport infrastructure in Karnataka, that led to rise of road transport in Karnataka.

BBMP is a problem for Bangalore no doubt. But these are for City to City across states not within city.

TN SETC buses should stop 🙅 buying underpowered, low standard body built buses.. I appreciate KSRTC for their fleets of volvos and scania and proving it can be maintained properly as well. TN buses look way uglier and outdated with no comfort

KSRTC ( Karnataka) is really good transport bus services to the ordinary common people and it's crews are also very friendly.. TNSTC Officers should learn from them how to maintain huge fleet of government buses and friendly service to the passengers. Especially should clean the buses kept neatly is top priority for TNSTC. no harm visit and learn from them.

Tamilnadu don't have Volvo govt buses.neighbour state rocking.realy salute to KSRTC

But recently the organised it better than before.

My last overnight trip on the Airavata from Bangalore to Madikere (about 6 years ago) was not a pleasant one -- the AC was switched-off mid-route, leading to uncomfortably hot interior.

I went to my hometown in Maharashtra after 15 years in US. The sleeper coach buses smelled so bad that I had to keep window open for whole journey so I could breath. Blankets were super smelly too. I hope Maharashtra inducts these kind of buses.

Today i have travelled through maharashtra shivshai. it stopped working at pen village and after 3 hrs we moved to railyway line and reached mumbai.... we cant afford even single shivshai bus, lal dabba is ok for us.

The only thing I want is the bus to have a toilet which can be accessible by all the passengers.

this just shows europe sets the standard for travel comfort. india has a long way to go. always the follower, never a trailblazer
