Melbourne-based firm Pleysier Perkins embarked on a mission to harmonise the connection between this family’s ‘motel-like’ holiday home and its picturesque, beachside surroundings through a playful, Palm Springs-inspired design.

I love how the architects have taken inspiration from the mid-century modern movement to create an authentic, no-fuss beach house. The materials, particularly the use of brick, make the home feel both contextual and warm.
