Back in the day when “only you” came out I always thought who TF is Bert Padell and why is Big shouting him out “stash more cash than Bert Padell” he must be a rich motherfvcker if B.I. is bigging him up!! LOL!! Then I found out who he was and cracked up laughing, but Bert was from Brooklyn so Big would already F wit him but given that he was handing out checks, Big definitely F’d with him! He passed away in 2018 I believe, so him and Big are chillin’ in the afterlife together again!

@@johnwalters3403 I'm from the neighborhood before biggie blew up he was a big thing to dudes in the neighborhood from Jay to fab whoever came out of bedstuy none of them had the neighborhood buzz biggie had before he came out. Those tapes was something special the only other person I know of who had they whole neighborhood behind them as a sure thing before they blew up is DMX. That's what separated biggie from almost everybody. Not to mention he never changed what he talked about from his first single to the day he died biggie talked about the same thing no matter who he recorded with or what type of song it was about. That's my only problem with the pac beef biggie was biggie before he ever met pac. Just think what other street rapper could make a banger with Craig Mac Busta and LL and be his self on a record. Most rappers have to change they subject matter because of the concept of the song not biggie.lol

I can honestly say 2pac All Day. Big ain’t really who he say he is. Game recognize Game. PAC was really that Nigga as Busta just said. Snoop tell a story of how Nas had goons and PAC gave No F 😂 Nas Said he told his goons back down. Snoop ass was shook 😂
Damn that verse was fire. Respect to Bust true legend for calming the fire instead of fueling.
I love Pac and B.I.G. but this is for all the people who claim that Biggie never said anything about Pac. That it was just all one-sided. Straight from a man that was there. Busta is a real one for not releasing that back in the day. And even more commendable for muting those lines when it was finally released.
Interesting to find this. Cool story man.
That was dope fellas
This history right here 💯
Captivating narrative
Lovin hearin Busta speak…
I grew up on Busta, from "The Coming" to "Master Fard Muhammad". Him giving Jamaica credit for originating Hip Hop broke my heart, but I STILL got love for the OG, b/c he gave us ALOT of good Hip Hop classics. And as an OG, he shows a lot of love to the young artists trying to get into the market. True emcee.
In Bigs last interview in Cali he said out his mouth that the accident didn't happen until 3 days after Pac died. So the whole time Pac was alive you never respond but as soon as he die you get into an accident, laid up for 3 months & recorded a whole other disc to your album full of subliminal disses to a dead man who cant respond smh
Crazy story 🎉
Busta is a real living legend man

Gems!!
This story speaks to how great a lyricist Biggie was, dope emcees didn’t want to lay there verses down because they wanted to see what Biggie had first ….🔥🔥🔥🔥 the rappers in this generation ain’t going in deep with them bars like our legends did back in the late 80’s, 90’s & early 2000’s.

I was just listening to "Dangerous MC's" and boom here go a video about it.
I remember when I first heard that verse on Born again. When BIG said "Actor" I was like yea he's blasting at Pac. Than I heard the original, I was like yea he was on Pac! But that last bar, "round and round, upside down." B.I.G. was singing the melody to Pacs "I get around."😬 BIGGIE subliminal we're so direct and smooth! And to actually hear the story on how it this bar was created?...man this was dope!
This is why I love Bus-A-Bus
The streets knew about some of the joints being held back . Biggie smalls is the illest! Pac screaming all eyes on me ! Thug Life ba'bay!
