The ps2 have teh capabilities of playing dvd discs, so u can just watch dvd thehs to that console, a original Xbox disc, or rather a 360 disc is a DVD disc, when u insert this dvd disc to the ps2, I’ll will just play this dvd disc. Also cmon I’m not accurate so take it as a salt pinch u use For food anyways

Just to clarify: This message is not exclusive to PlayStations. This warning/error will appear if you put the disc in any DVD player. They play because the XBOX discs are in DVD-ROM format. How do they make it work? Ask someone at Microsoft. Back on topic however, due to the PlayStations having a DVD player, in addition to the CD player, for reading actual PlayStation discs, they are able to recognise the XBOX disc _as a regular DVD,_ and play it, _as a regular DVD._ This makes the warning/error appear.

use the swap trick. insert a disc that has the region and piracy parts intact but other stuff not load (being scratched, dirty, etc.), then quickly take out the disc and insert the disc you want to use.

This is ultra easy. You must just put probably an 8gen disk, and the RSOD will appear. I know, because i have made this.

The fact that gta iv: episodes from liberty city was released in october 2009 had the red screen of death because the xbox live logo was on the right, not in the center and 2010 or later xbox 360 games that were released following the 360 s release omit the xbox live logo on the front cover, the manual and the disc or a purple line and the text 'KINECT' to know it is a kinect game. 2011 games had a udf file which does not play and needs an os that supports the iso 13346 udf file system specification. Most xbox 360 games do not have manuals because they wanted to reduce paper.

Xbox discs are part DVD, the Xbox intro is stored here. On an Xbox, the game will launch before the "this is an Xbox game disc" message. A ps2 will continue playing the DVD portion, showing the error message. Same reason why the PS3 shows the Xbox disc as "DVD media" instead of a game error

I don't know how, but I tried to put a Xbox game in the PS1 (I have a SCPH-9002) and the disc started spinning normally, the game didn't load, but the tracks did, which is cool because my PS1 is PAL and isn't chipped, maybe some models don't have piracy protection? Who knows!
