Ойын-сауық

Long story short, nerf content creation has become way more draining, both mentally and monetarily, than it is rewarding to me so I'm ending regular production on American Foam hence forward. But you're still guaranteed to find me lurking in the comment sections of your favorite nerftubers videos as well as foam flinging events across the country. I still love nerfing and making new friends with all of you, just not constantly saying that hasbro=bad / dartzone=good that nerf reviewing has become lately. It's been an enormous pleasure getting to know all of you over these last five years and I hope our paths soon.
Blast Well,
-Brad (American Foam)
PS: Announcements regarding my collection sale on eBay, my second streaming channel, and obscure/horror/cult/nostalgia film and tv channel will be posted here first, so dont go anywhere if you're interested in my further adventures!

TLDR in the description. I love all of you that I got to interact with over the years. I truly truly mean that. And to those that I’m currently working on collabs with, that is all still a huge go! I can’t wait for the holiday streams, charity work, and the nailer review.

Man, we still have so many shenanigans to commit together... I 100% feel you though. I know exactly what you mean by NERF being just boring and Coop was complaining the same thing. We existed off the excitement of buying new product, reviewing it, modding it, and repeating. Now it's completely boring, and it takes a ton of time and energy to get what you can out.

And shenanigans can still be had friend of mine! They can still be had. I just know that if I didnt stop soon, the lack of passion would show through and the content would suffer and that seems like a worse fate to me. I am annoyed that a bunch of cool nerftubers live like 2,000 miles away from me otherwise the story might’ve unfolded a little differently. Damn geography! 😂

Personally I wish the best to you in the new channels first and foremost! I'll keep trying to drop in on the streams as I've been doing and will look forward to seeing what becomes of the new movie review channel as well, interesting stuff there. Your Nerf channel was one of only a few I actually watched, and it seems that list is growing ever smaller as time goes on, but c'est la vie. Doing what you enjoy in life is important, and I can 100% understand your decision to make the change as I've already announced my own decision to restart my mountain bike channel (also called mongoosejake, lol) but I'll still be doing blaster based content, just far less reviews overall. The reviews themselves are mostly the issue in my perspective. I'm a bit less inundated compared to you with your larger reach, and my odd-ball nature of loving Buzz Bee and the off the wall off brand stuff, but the tinkering and blasting itself is more fun than just recording review after review. Especially when you've got to fund it all yourself. This channel can take two to three months to hit the payout threshold so yeah, it's a expense, especially if you attempt to get new blasters as they come out. So, long comment coming to a close... Hope your new channels take off and bring you newfound enjoyment and I'll hang around to tag along for the ride!

No reason to get another blaster anymore because all new blasters are like an old one in a slightly different jacket. Nerf for me is now more a quest for the new and the weird. I’m sorry to see you go, but I’m also happy for you. Between the financial aspect and the product monotony, it makes sense and I can’t blame you. I appreciate everything you done and you’ve always been a positive influence that I admire. I truly hope you find the fulfillment you need in whatever you end up doing. Take care and blast well friend!

Modding was kind of the same for me especially being an old school modder before 3d printing. Making parts and upgrading blasters was a real skill. Now with all the high performance blasters, 3d printed parts, drop in kits modding isnt what it use to be. Ive moved on from blasters before and sold everything off but now dipping my toes back in. I sold off all my homemade mods and new in box. Ive kept a couple new in box vintage blasters for nostalgia so i know how you feel. Its got a bit boring and repetitive especially reviews. Nerf battles are still a lot of fun

Sorry to hear the news you are taking a leave of absence from "Nerftubing". I am a Star Wars and lightsaber enthusiast but you and your channel helped convert me into a plinking level foam flinger so thank you for all you have done to entertain and inform us all. I'll check out your future culture reviews when you are up and running, all the best.
