D.A., Not until people take the time to fully understand the biological functions of crying and what it does to and for the entire mind, body, heart, spirit complex will this asinine stigma be laid to waste. There is NOTHING shameful about expressing truly felt emotions, nor should one feel embarrassed by them. For to long now most of society cringe at the sight of emotions, Unless being expressed by the very young or those in their golden age. I have heard folks say: "Oh their just a baby, or They've lived to long with that memory" as to why and reason for their expressed state of emotion. Foolish fools are they I say, giving rhyme or reason for the existence and or their need to express them. It is their birthright as a human being to freely do so. No One should bottle them up or made to feel less than for having or being emotional. Tears are some what sacred and therefore earned is a level of wisdom or awareness not gained or of benefit otherwise. So I say salute a salty face!

Agreed im fucking tough as nails you canr shake me w pain or insult but music with heart will instantly cut through any grit or toughness i have and i just melt its got 100% worse when my daughter one day developed a passion for singing now im just a constant blubbering mess and i honestly wouldnt give it up for anything

They all missed it. I know this truth. He doesn't cry from pain, or fear, or lack of confidence. He cries when he's happy. Joy fills his heart from feeling people's love and the tears flow. Each time he cried, he felt people's love. That shows how he appreciates love and people, and it shows he's a great person.

But i do feel like people can relate with me more when i do open up and show that im human just like them. I think we are all struggling but we just dont show it to others. Seeing someone so openly show their emotions somehow makes me feel better.

Jennifer was the perfect coach for this young man. With her training his voice got stronger and better control. She let him have his emotions in the beginning but also showed him how to harness and use them to the betterment of his music.

However you see at that point that every one is faking it, which again will make that person more inclined to be someone that aren't even more...

AGREED👏 He killed every round in my opinion. It's not often when contestants on these shows actually PERFORM && not just stand there && sing, ya know. So for that reason alone my favorite was/is Stitches. So happy that Mo won that season tho❤ I much rather prefer soulful, meaningful artists, but I still enjoy people like Jamie, too, with undeniable talent all-around.

@@neckmangler I think it is because the 2nd place can focus on the music and the nr 1 has to spend a lot of time on (talk)shows. and other contractual stuff connected to the show. I know it was like that for the first winner of Idols over here. Saw a segment once where the nr 2 said he was lucky to be nr 1 because the stuff i said above.

@@darkrevan2 The thing is that often in these kind of shows, winning means having to sign a contract with a special label. So, artists are often stuck with them and it's not that easy getting out of that. The one who didn't win doesn't have to sign this partcular contract with that label, so he can choose, unlike the winner. Hope my comment clarified the matter.

Millions people in the world are beyond happy that Jamie decided to quit his job and started to sing, now we get to hear and see him singing spreading whatever vibe he’s in.

And I just found out now that he participated in the voice, I met him through a suggestion from youtube and I loved his music, researching more I discovered this video, an extremely sensitive and talented guy, he definitely deserves a lot of recognition and success

JHud, Is primarily a Judge on The Global Voice. They're probably paying her more than The American Voice was willing to.

They raised an amazing boy! A 19 year old young man that is not afraid to show his emotions!

Watching him grow feels like a proud mamma. He brought so much inspiration because I went down the same road. And im very proud he got his voice to be heard. Unbelievably incredible!

I really felt like he should have won. He was the whole package. How many singers can dance and sing that good at the same time

I was randomly watching these videos. Halfway into this and I went like "wait, Jamie Miller as in 'Here's Your Perfect' Jamie Miller?" Didn't know his story before but what a beautiful journey.

He may not have won this show, but he will win in the end. There will be doors open for him because of his having been on here. Good Voice

He is so versatile, he can singing all types of song. And his control and range is awesome! Damn im a fan

Now we all know that the person that doesn't win is the winner and becomes more successful..😅

That Father & Son HUG is something this kid will remember for the rest of his lives on this earth

He has a lot of growth vocally to do, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone on this show more prepared to become an actual star than this guy.

Jamie is relevant in today's market, a Star is born and I see success from this young man.

That first battle when he decided to burry his fears by doing this dance move...that was so powerfull

Me- deceased over everything about him THEN HE COMES OUT😭 we must protect him girls gays and theys.

By far the most all-around talent I have ever seen on any of The Voice shows in any country! This young man is sensational!!!!
