Just tried it today and it does still work. One thing he didn’t mention was that the glitch only works on adventure and apocalypse difficulty. Also make sure you use the leave early totem before entering the loot room or when you relaunch the game you’ll have to redo the boss fight.

It works!!! I did it on ps5

ty DcSK, 11/6 and its still working on Xbox. In case anybody is confused, on Xbox do the following: 1. Reach Lvl 22 and defeat boss. 2. Go through exit but on next screen DO NOT pick any gear, instead press the Xbox Home button and from the home screen quit the game. 3. Start Minecraft Dungeons. 4. In game settings change your map setting, its set to down on Dpad, and change it to the LT bumper. (This could/should be step one.) 5. When you start your game it will start you at the point where you pick a piece of gear, DONT make a pic, instead press your new Map button with LT. 6. Once in the map screen select the Tower and it should show that you've already defeated 3 bosses. Enter Tower. Repeat steps 2 through 5 until you get the desired gear and/or lvl. Imo, no point in going past lvl 315 because there seems to be a cap on health/damage. Thanks again DcSK. If you're on the switch, instead of trying to crash the game each time; go to the main menu, close the game, then go to the map, and repeat like the video shows. (I went to controls and set the map to ZL)

@@FC2ESWS you need to return to camp via the checkpoint tower after defeatin the boss to save the checkpoint or you will have to keep fighting the boss

@@nathanaelhaines5192 you need to go to controller settings and change the map button to ZL. Save the checkpoint after defeating the boss. Then, once you are at the reward screen, you need to close the game by hitting the home button and closing it and reloading it. Go back to tower and then hit ZL button at reward screen to reenter the tower and repeat..

From my runs and tests, a somewhat important thing to note is that the max stats for attack or health cap out at around 316 to 320. I could be wrong but I think that's the cap. I'd say after this point just farm for the best enchants you want on your gear you want.

Important note, Things like shockwave/swirling (and probably any other enchantment that scales off weapon level, maybe radiant) scale to the level regardless of the cap. My lv 478 moon daggers do 3.5 mil damage per hit, but the swirling does 8.1 mil.

Upon further inspection, I believe this is incorrect, Swirling does have a cap at about 8Mil.

Tbh, i find it even more appealing that it rerolls aswell, meaning i can do it until i find one i want

For any console, just change the map button in your settings and it will work.

I have made a discovery, If you crash the game on the reward screen when you fail the tower, you regain a life, you need to have a different map button like the one you showed, you can keep doing this if you fail and you basically have infinite lives now

@randomthingsgaming3982 IT FRICKIN WORKS! It's exactly like @theenderkeeper1534 says. 1) Reassign your Map controller key to anything other than the default. 2) Beat at least 1 Boss level. 3) When you lose all your lives and Fail the tower, from the loot reward screen do NOT select a reward. At this point, "crash" your game. You can fully close the game, but I've found a much faster way is to disconnect & reconnect your internet. On PS4 the quickest way to do this is to hit the PS button on your controller, which should kick you out to your Playstation main screen, but leaving your game running in the background. Go to the PS4 Settings menu, then select Network, then uncheck and re-check the "Connect to the Internet" setting. Return to your game, and it will have kicked you back to the Menu screen. 4) Start an Online Game 5) Upon loading your game, you will again be faced with the loot reward screen. DO NOT select loot! Instead, hit your reassigned Map button. 6) from the Map screen, select the Tower, and choose Continue!

I'm sure someone else already said this, but just to put it near the top because I didn't see it from scrolling, switched my map button to L3 on ps5 and it works! I'm assuming anything that isn't a d-pad button

Does the counter of how many times u killed the boss reset once you choose ur gear?

it's also working currently for adventure pass exp, I entered at level 16 and started rerolling just because and when I finally picked a weapon I was level 27.

Does anyone know anything of a new glitch for bringing your gear into the tower, I know it was patched but there could be an alternate way.

As of July 4th 2023 this still works kinda. The items power still increases every time I perform the glitch but the items randomizing is weird. The rewards entirely randomized the first time I did the glitch into a gilded unique and 2 regular uniques. The second time I did it the items were the same but the non gilded uniques were now gilded and every time afterward the only changing is the items power and the level of the gilded enchants. It might have to do with the fact that I’m performing the glitch on switch but idk.

The armor with level 316 is not necessary to raise them more, they do not exceed 25,057,904 life, even taking them to levels 400-500+ the life will never increase from there which is a waste of time

Confirmed still working 3/2023 on PS4. Have to set the map button to new button (I used L2). Then after you dashboard out and restart it will put you at reward select. Just hit map button and load tower again. Enter reward door, dashboard at reward screen, repeat process as much as you want.

No need to restart the entire game. From loot selection screen, dashboard out, go to PS4 settings, select Network, and the first setting says "Connect to the internet" or something. 2 quick taps to uncheck and recheck the box, then return to your game. The brief disconnect will have the game kick you back to the opening "start game" menu, with a message saying something like "internet connection lost". This will save you the time of having to sit through the starting Mojang, Xbox Gaming, and wtvr splash screens.

So on xbox is you just go into the settings and change you map button to something like left trigger it will let you upen the map. Then you can do the glitch the way he dose in the video. Hope this helps some

On Nintendo switch you can take your game cartridge out of the switch and it will say 4 bosses (take it out during the countdown after exiting the gate if you do it correctly and wait for it to load back you will get another boss added)

Still works on PS5 on 11th of March 2023, you just need to plug in a keyboard to press "m" at the end of Floor 22. (Edit: My game started crashing after about 15 times of doing the glitch)

I FOUND A WAY FOR CONSOLE!! So on Nintendo switch If you switch the button that opens the map for the ZL button it will work, i think it will work for other consoles two, you just have to switch to the trigger button!!

Okay I realise yes it just works on any trigger but I recommend the left trigger cause it takes up less commands for controls

Tip! Have your friend do the tower and be in his game when he completes it and closes game, have him close his game and open it again, and when you join you’ll get the rewards but he’ll still have the checkpoint at the end! It keeps leveling up too!

I figured out how to do this on console! My map button was d-pad down, which I changed to - on my controller, and it pulled up the map! Additionally I was playing on switch so I can confirm switch is ok! Gl gamers!

@johnwalsh8256 there IS a quicker way than completely restarting the game. On the PS4 here what I do- from the rewards selection screen I press the PS button on the controller to temporarily hop out into the main Playstation home screen (game is still running). I go into my Settings -> Network settings menu, quickly un-check and re-check the "Connect to internet" setting, then hop back into the game. That brief moment of losing internet connection will cause the game to kick you back to the first game screen, "press X (or whatever) to start online game". Sure, you'll have to load your Camp again, but it's a heck of a lot faster than cold-restarting the game and having to wait through the MS and Mojang loading screens.

Why is my Equip on low level? My tower equip is level 90 and it only increase of 3 every time i restart

On ps5 be careful going above power level 419. My game and game saves started becoming very glitchy and all data on the game was lost but it strangely returned after turning console off and on.

Yes; when I lost a tower run and performed this glitch but at an earlier level, I was able to continue my tower run, get to the final level, get normal lvl 263 rewards, and even perform this glitch more to get higher power levels.

for PlayStation players change your map bind to L2 then it works

You can do the glitch on Xbox by connecting a keyboard to it

Works for all consoles and PC

I don't know if this is possible for anyone else but I temporarily found a way to get my gear back into the tower even after the gear glitch patch, since the outside camp seems to be a different cell (play area), I wondered if I could just perform the same glitch but below the camp where you do the ancient hunts with the pigiln merchant etc. Since in theory it is a different cell to the one patched in the update. I was able to get up on the hill to the left with the acacia roots on it, and roll down repeatedly until I died, after that I went to start a new tower run and was able to bring my gear in after I respawned, I am so annoyed though because for the life of me I can not get it to work again, so I'm still trying to get it to cooperate, I'm on switch if it helps anyone's knowledge. I still think the glitch can be performed, just only in finnicky ways.

This is also a good adventure pass farm as well

So, when I try to play the tower on Apocalypse it chooses the second difficulty so the power level stops at 120, anyone have any work arounds or having the same problem? Because I am very confused while my friend who is like half my level got all the way to level 300+ items.

If you can't get it to stay on Apocalypse difficulty, try cloning your character and setting it to Apoc difficulty with the clone.

You don't need to fully shut down the game. Just hit PS button to return to main screen, go to Playstation Settings, select Network settings, first option will be "Connect to internet [X]" Two quick clicks to un-check and re-check the box, then return to the game. It will kick you back to the Start Game menu. It's much faster doing it this way, rather than restarting each time and having to sit through the splash screens.

@Ayaan Azeem one useful wrinkle in this glitch... if you Fail the tower (lose all lives), but have managed to beat at least one boss, at the loot selection screen, cycle the glitch. It will return you to fight the same level over again, with 0 lives remaining.

After beating the boss you need to use the Tower Guardian statue to return to camp FIRST. Then return to your Tower run. You should then load into the final stage with the boss already defeated, and just walk over to the door and Complete the tower.

It won't let me go to the map on xbox. I press the map button and it won't bring up the map. Do I need change my map button?

It still works, I got to the rewards screen, exited the game then turned off my internet and turned it back on then went back to the game. When you continue the game, it should automatically take you to the rewards screen. Before continuing the game, make sure you have open map button and interact button set to R1 and L1 , because you’ll have to press them both at the same time when you get back to that rewards screen. Hope that made sense

Works very well on PS4 (18.03.23)

669 is soo strong it can even destroy a boss in one or two or three hits!!

You can do the glitch on PS4 by closing the application, same as on PC by ending the task

Enter the tower, get to the 3 items selection screen and crash the game. On the Switch you do it by going to the home and closing the game. 4. Reopen the game and open the map 5. Enter the tower again

You unlock the item for your main character, so main island

Tower 4: Still works on latest tower as of November 20th, but I had the finial boss's minions still spawn each time. I was able to just run by them each time, but it is more of a hassle. Anyone found a better way?

Don't worry, It's dungeons's server problem.

Boss spawns every time I’m playing apocalypse

If your loot gets locked on the Switch and becomes the same thing each time you can actually reroll it by pulling up the map after crashing the game and then selecting and beating a level, I recommend the Moo level since it is short, before that put your difficulty level on default because it will be easier, when ur on the level reward screen you can pull up the map by pressing ZR if you remapped the default map button, finally, you want to go back to the tower and ur rewards should be different, make sure to do this each time you crash ur game as well. I'm sorry if the directions are confusing but Ive had to tell a lot of people the same thing. Hope this helps somebody.
