I just tried this sport at 65. I thought it would be like playing frisbee. Little did I know. My arm hurt after 18 holes. Sport is deserving of elevated status. Im going back to golf. It doesn’t hurt as much.

It definitely can be taxing. I have damage to my shoulder (unrelated to disc golf) that would act up every time until I started to improve my form.

I went to school with KJ in Greenwood. I was a better athlete than him... as kids

I didn't know this game ever existed and now I'm fascinated! It's like golf, but with childhood nostalgia.

Didn't know such a sport exists. Way more entertaining than Golf.

This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen, I didn’t know you guys actually treat it like golf lol… but I respect it, the only place I can throw a disc or frisbee is on the roof of the nearest house. (Not on purpose)

I absolutely love golf and disc golf. But disc golf is more economical and more physically active. I definitely prefer a serious round of disc golf over actually golf. It's also half the time.

Sure the heck is a lot cheaper than ball golf and yes, it's a lot more cardio than regular golf.

Big jerms flex forehand to get in circle 1 at Waco was incredible. I still have never seen anyone even attempt that line since then

Never knew this was a thing

I just found out about this insanely satisfying sport!

Played years ago,back with David Greenwell,Johnny Sias just to mention a few. Was on "tour" back when we STILL used Wham-O disc,glowed in the dark. A 500' hole was NEVER going to get "aced" in those days. The new plastic and the ability to utilize the new disc's advantages is mind blowing. P.S For those of you who have never tried disc golf,you should. Grab a disc,go out side,yard,park anywhere with some room and use a tree for your target. Call or look up your local course pro and pick up a disc or two and some pointers. Careful, it's addictive. You're for warned. Great Job guys!!!

I mean it is. One of the few sports you can play outside by yourself or with a group of friends for free. Very easy to start, very hard to get just OK lol.
