Thank you ! One thing that I wish I had done was to put the microwave under the cabinet as a pull out drawer microwave. They are a top load. I saw them but did not think it was important. This seems like a kitchen inside a kitchen. There are some who have a a clean kitchen and a dirty kitchen, one for working and one for show

I think you are correct. I try to use the pantry for washing all the dirty dishes etc. bit for food prep we like to use the island in the kitchen. Since we are out in the country we need a good size place to keep food stocked. Thank you so much for watching and commenting !

Love the size of your pantry. Are you planning on putting all your boxed items into clear containers? Be careful with the chocolate in storage after opening. What temperature is your pantry set to?

Hello ! Thank you so much for watching and commenting. We have been in our new house for a little over a year and I am looking to see what I need to update or change up. There are a few more items that I would like to put into clear containers. But some of the items I really do not want to open up until I am closer to needing to use them. I am getting ready to go through everything and double check expiration dates etc and do some rearranging, now that I know what I use more often. For the temperature, I have it the same as the rest of the house. Is usually set on 72. Let me know if you have some good ideas for other clear containers and some of the items that I still have in boxes. For my pasta, I have containers with the ones we use the most but may add a couple for that section. The original plan was to have a tall ladder that moved around two of the walls and I have not had that done yet so do not have anything on the top shelves. Thanks again for watching !

Love your pantry!! Thanks for sharing. I am about to build our new house and definitely, a walk in pantry with a “secret” door will be included . My question is: Do you have another sink and another wash machine outside your pantry ? I don’t know if it is practical to eat at the open kitchen and then pick all the dirty dishes and wash them at the pantry room. How do you manage this ? Thank you in advance. Greetings, Milisa

If you have not looked on Pinterest for ideas go look there. I lived on Pinterest while we were building the house. I found that and KZread had really everything I needed for ideas. The problem I had was making the final decision on what I wanted. Good luck on your pantry ! Take the time you need to research and get it just the way you want it. When the room was built the dimensions were about 16 feet x 9.5 feet. After the cabinets and shelves were built in, that took up approx 2 feet on all sides leaving the floor space now at 12 Feet x 5.5 feet. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a question !

Hi@@morrice , Here are some measurements: For the brown wood counter, that ledge is 15.5 inches deep all the way around the 3 sides of the pantry wall. There is a decorative piece of wood at the back of those sections on the counter and if that was not there they would be 16 inches deep. For the shelves above the brown counter, those shelves are 12 inches deep and the ones below the counter are 16 inches deep. For the width of the sections: For the middle section on the end wall , those sections are 32 inches wide. For the sections on the left on that wall the sections are all 26.5 wide. I hope that helps!
