Handmade tires made out of hot glue gun sticks are an innovative and unique way to create functional tires for different types of vehicles. The hot glue gun sticks are formed and shaped to resemble the tread of traditional tires, providing the necessary traction and grip for driving on various surfaces.
The process of building the tires involve heating the hot glue gun sticks, and then molding them into the desired shape and size of the tire. This process requires a high degree of skill and precision, as the hot glue must be manipulated and formed quickly before it cools and hardens.
Once the hot glue has cooled and hardened, the tire can be mounted onto the wheel and the vehicle can be driven. The hot glue sticks provide a level of traction and grip that allows the vehicle to be driven on different types of surfaces. However, it's important to keep in mind that, while building tires from hot glue gun sticks is a creative and challenging process, it may not be as durable as traditional tire, especially when it comes to heavy usage or rugged terrain.
The use of hot glue sticks also provides an eco-friendly alternative to traditional rubber tires, as they are a reusable material and can be recycled after their use as a tire. This makes them a great option for those who are conscious about the environment and looking for sustainable alternatives.
Building a tire from hot glue gun sticks is a unique and challenging process, but the end result is a one-of-a-kind tire that can provide functionality and aesthetic appeal. However, it may not be suitable for heavy usage or rugged terrain and it could be a perfect option for art projects or short distance vehicle.
Overall, handmade tires made out of hot glue gun sticks are an innovative and unique way to create functional tires for different types of vehicles. They provide a level of traction and grip that allows the vehicle to be driven on different types of surfaces, but they may not be as durable as traditional tires. They are also an eco-friendly option and can be perfect for art projects or short distance vehicle.

Awesome idea but I think a better implementation would be to use silicone or a silicone blend. Softer ride and no melting problems on sunny hot asphalt! Then maybe studded for longer wear and better traction on ice/clay type surfaces. You could even play around with different stud materials.

This would be a great ride for about 10 minutes in the springtime, though with the way hot glue hardens and cracks with zero traction compared to a regular tire, expect to eat concrete if you try to make this at home.

Gave me an idea for a cheap worn down knobby bike tire (the knobs in the tire center always get worn down 1st faster than the rest of the tire) . Clean the tire & use a glue gun to put a dab of glue on each worn down tire knob to see if it'll stick & how long they'll last. I doubt it'd last very long or stick well but it might. I might try it on my worn down motorized bicycle rear tire. It wears out tires quick. If it could make them last 1/2 way longer or provide better snow traction, it'd be worth it. Or clear silicone caulk (dries to hard rubber like feel) might possibly work & stick to the rubber knobs. It wouldn't take very long to apply, set bike on center stand, wipe down rear tire with solvent, apply a dap to each worn down center knob & let dry.

Great video, your mind must not stop. I just put a new pair of tires on my road bike. They cost less than $50 for the pair. I usually get around 3500 miles out of them. My first question to you would be cost. Did you keep a running total of your cost excluding your equipment which looks very expensive. How do they perform? How long do they last? I can’t see them beating standard tires in any way except maybe punctures. Great experiment, I would rather just ride my bicycle.
