Hardcore Limiter lots or rotaries in nz don’t I don’t thi k you need them on a car made before 1986 or something like that I don’t have any on my 81 lancer this is full tube front car anyway so not street legal

Piston engines regularly let go & spray the track with engine parts, rotaries like this love the abuse, they can handle high rpms & being thrashed for long periods of time, there is plenty of proof on KZread showing this hey

Yeah they can handle that.. IF you have a radiator at the size of 7 trucks. A wankel or rotary is weaker than liquid butter without a whole fing lot of coolant. A piston engine v8 (🤮!) or a JZ(🤢) can take more beating at 500~hp stock than any rotary can..

What a poxy burnout. Driver obviously doesn't have enough skill to change gears? What's with the flames - some kind of liquid spray onto the rear tyres? There is no way that this thing is generating enough wheel speed (in first gear on the limiter) to genuinely ignite the rear tyures.

John Coops Have you never heard of a 5th gear dump? No theres no liquid, the flag masters were supposed to stop him when it caught fire as it can be extremely dangerous. But for some reason they let him go till he smelt the burning car

I've heard of a 5th gear clutch dump, but that rotary was definitely not in 5th. I doubt it was even in third, considering the slow wheel speed and tiny amount of smoke. It didn't catch fire from the tyres friction, they were hardly even spinning LOL. Since it obviously had been in flames before, it's obviously been set up as a flame-out car with exhaust dump onto the rear tyres. Note he sits on the limiter the entire time, rather than shifting up and doing a proper burnout? Done on purpose to get some raw fuel out the exhaust. A pathetic attempt, really.

John Coops have u ever owned or driven a 400-500hp+ rotary? and he would have started in 2nd or 3rd or possibly 4th gear and had a clear gear change @ 0:06 ... get off the gear bro your talking shit

gary H - No I haven't owned a 400-500hp rotary, and you don't need even HALF that amount to do a burnout better than the idiot in this video.. The guy in the video hasn't ever owned or driven a 400-500hp either.. No way that car in the video was in 5th, it was on the limiter almost continuously yet there was almost zero wheel speed and smoke.

John Coops this would’ve atleast been 4th gear dump. The reason it looks like the wheels are spinning slow is because my camera was running 30 frames per second so it would need about 60 frames per second to actually look closer to real life.
