Yeeees! Yesterday I was just chilling going down The slopes trying absolutely nothing at all and as i was turning my toe side caught a hard icy spot that sent me flying and since i was going a bit fast aftermath is my chest hurts, pulled my leg, lower back,elbow, shoulder and my abdominal area is in constant pain. From trying to turn lol

Fucking right man, last weekend I broke my scaphoid bone in my wrist/hand. When I had my guard down, I came flying down, picking up a bunch of speed into a flat section Cotto side edge, and it fucked me onto my stomach more or less folded my left hand back, I got up, gave her a good back and forth bend and thought it was a sprain, and wanted to keep on riding. My buddy saw how swollen my wrist was between my hand and wrist and figured since I could barely do my left binding up He didn’t know how hard it hit my head and then we should probably head back down and I should get an x-ray. Turns out I was wrong he was right. There is a much more serious injury than I expected. Bummer way to finished my second preseason ride of the best snowboarding season we’ve had in years and my first season back on that board in just about 10 years. Lol

I think the youtuber took him out ;-) not the other way around. As i recall people coming from high have to look at what's going on below. But maybe the rules are different in North-america? i dunno? It is awesome they were both cool about it.

@@tharealmb his back side was facing toward the rider who was cutting across, ive had this happen to me before and yea technically it was my fault but its generally a good idea to take a quick peek behind before making a cut like that. It can even seem like the area in front of you is completely clear and then outta nowhere you get taken out. Its especially a problem when two boarders with opposite stances have their backs facing toward eachother, so they are both completely blind.

I love the outtro. I love a lot of the improvements you've made since the days that I recorded you that spring. When we were strangers and I needed a ride to the mountain and you needed some late season filming

Literally got taken down the mountain by ski patrol this morning for something like this. Didnt quite go unconscious but was hearing a ringing for 5-10 minutes and my hip was numb for awhile. Be careful out there guys.

@@reFRIJJrate I was filming my niece (2 years snowboarding) and got knocked out. She said I talked to ski patrol and convinced them I was ok. I was able to get down on my own and went on 2 more runs before my hip was too sore to keep going. My niece said I kept asking the same questions over and over. I even drove home that day. I went to the brain doc and had an MRI. Doc said I probably had a concussion but made a full recovery. I now have a an enduro MC helmet for this season.

Just got back from my first time snowboarding for three days. Had 4 GOOD falls not wearing a helmet. And I’ll tell you what, I’m here laying in my bed sore as all get out and enjoying these videos making me wanna plan another trip😂

Worst crash ive had was when i was braking i slid backwards and my heels were up then i flipped over ontop of my head then my torso was the opposite direction of my legs so that made my ankle twist like hell

This was SO funny. That scorpion was the best. Lol. Hilarious

That edge catch was a knockout blow with a helmet and potentially a TBI without a helmet. That’s the kind of slam that stays with you forever and influences how much risk your willing to assume every time you get on the lift. I broke the big bone in my arm in VT on the last run and it screw my head up to where I don’t even like jumps anymore. I remember seeing my arm at a 90 degree angle and passing out.

Finally a buck house video I can enjoy

6:50 know that feeling, its usually the most innocent of runs that gets you with your guard down. Was on such a run and my ski caught a small snow clump that I couldn't see, dug in on the outer edge and flung me forwards. Before I knew it I was looking upwards in a plume of snow. Absolutely fine and weirdly not shaken, just gave it 5 mins to settle down and fully self check to make sure it wasn't just adreneline and carried on. Its a weird sport!

The sniper shots have me dead, glad I stayed till the end😂👍

Saw you guys filming some side hits down Spring Dipper this morning, hope ya had fun!

I’ve never gotten on metal terrain but that seems about the only time you want to ride your edge instead of pulling back like in powder and slipping

After going snowboarding for the first time today and wiping out at least 30 times. I know all of these crashes hurt a lot worse than they look 😂.

Worst crash I ever had was when I was doing a small side trail which had an unexpected drop off at the end. It was probably 5 or 6 feet and I slammed face down on the ground. I didn't realize it at the time, but I think I had a concussion from that crash because when we went out again the next day my eyes were SUPER light sensitive and I felt really nauseous. I ended up spending the day trying to sleep in the lodge.

The one at 2:53 seconds is definitely a gnarly fall, I actually did the exact same kind of fall but not doing butters…. Not fun when you’re still recovering from a past concussion that I got back in July. Plus the first night time clip can’t be anymore true, when you smack the back of your head like that you’re pretty worried.

I had a good wipe out last month. I was going over a small jump and an idiot who wasn’t even doing the jump went right in front of the jump when I was on it, through me off for when I landed I tumbled and I burst that sac thing in my elbow and I had a huge ass bump the size of a golf ball on my elbow and the whole thing turned purple. I couldn’t lift my arm above my head for almost a week
