I did this the other day chasing the jackpot $1238 however the machine had already paid me up to $1900.....I ended up leaving with $100 at one point you were up to $1868 it's such a mind game when you chase...love your videos glad you left with a nice profit!!! That was an amazing run! I was chasing a minor on Eagle Bucks once that was around $480 and when the winter notification hit. I thought for sure it was the minor into my surprise it ended up being the Major at $9448. Needless to say, I took my jackpot and walked away before finishing chasing the minor. 😂

I’m a conservative player. Once you got over $1800, I would’ve set my lowest I’m going to is $1500.

Absolutely! Everyone's play style is different. For me, I was in it for the Minor since it was so close, so I kept playing. If the minor or major weren't in a favorable location, I would have done the same as you.

A few months ago I watched one of you "Best play" videos where you talked about the Ainsworth "must hit by" and I went to my local (Red Hawk) and played Ainsworth 25 cent machines. Hey Marc, sorry to dredge up an older video, but I have a couple questions about Thunder Cash. I went to my local casino today with a limited budget, about 200 bucks. After I lost about half of that, I thought I would try Thunder Cash, but I was doing low bets. Started with 3 lines at $1 a line, then tried one line for $3. Then one line at $1. Had zero luck. So question #1) Is TC still a good game to play at lower bets like that? Question 1A) If not, what would you suggest for an ideal lines/credits combo? And 2) Does the bonus correspond to the number of lines you bet on the initial spin? Thank you!

Those machines each have their own independent progressives. It's not shared with other machines.

Yeah, it can go many different ways. We've had a lot of success on just starting with a low amount, but we've also had the opposite. :) It is difficult to get the bonus on, for sure.

At my local Casino, there is a machine that has all three eagle stop thunder, Cash and Mustang money and you can pick which one you want to play. If I pick thunder cash, would it be the same as just a machine that is Thundercash?

I have a real hard time finding lower bet amounts, even the 25 cent machines are like max bet at 75 cent per line times 9 lines. What do you do if you only have one or two hundred?

Good Ole Double Strike did me nicely earlier this week, cashed out 10x from free-spins!

If each slot pull is a random event that results in an outcome on a pay table.....how do must hit by progressives guarantee that they will hit by a certain amount since hitting the progressive is a random event that can't be programmed? Is it something to do with the paytable not allowing the progressive to increase at a certain amount and just holds it at that until the random event of hitting occurs?

Here is how the must hit by progressives work. It's much different than a regular progressive. Whenever it resets back to the start, the slot machine randomly picks a number within the range of the must hit by progressive. So, if the range is $350 - $500, it picks a number in between that range. Let's say for example, it picks $378.92. The player or casino doesn't know what that number is - it's kept in secure memory on the machine. Every wager on the machine will increase the current progressive amount. The higher the wager, the faster it climbs. So, let's say it's currently showing $378.81 and you place a $20 wager, this will push it up to about $379.02. Since it crossed the $378.92 number that it selected, you are awarded the progressive after that spin is completed. It then resets and starts all over again.

Thunder Cash gave me my 1st major and on a $3 line bet. 😊

Yup, we noticed that after we put the video together. What the rules meant is that the progressive can trigger after a wager. It’s confusing - we are going to do a video on it soon.

At around the 2:50 mark you said the rules are that you can only win the progressive after a winning spin. But it looks like you got the progressive at 24:19 after a non-winning spin. Are some machines different than others? Or is there a mistake in the rules?

@@CowboySlots I found one of these machines and read the description in the rules. It will only pay the progressive after a paid spin. As in you paid money to make the spin, rather than being in a free game bonus. Not that the game paid you as in a winning spin.

Question about playing 5 lines on a 10 line machine vs a 5 line machine. Would you expect the line pay frequency to be less on the 10 line machine playing only 5 lines, In other words would the pay back % decrease because you’re not playing all the possible lines

For the Ainsworth games, no. Some games that could be true, however.

There isn't a symbol on these Ainsworth must hit by progressives. It happens after a spin completes. I knew I got it because the top screen changed and started to do the music.

On the must-hit by progressives, whenever someone hits it, the machine will select a number between the range. So, if the minor is between $350 - $500, it will pick a number in there. Every time you spin, it will increase the progressive. Once you cross whatever number it picks, it will award it to you.

You were at 1800 awhile ago. I think if you had dropped your bet at that time, you would have been more ahead. It's like you were chasing the Minor. For me, when a game slows up or gives me not great bonuses, the last thing I would do is raise the bet to $20. I only raise bets when machine is hitting regularly or more frequently. When it is "leveling" off, I stop playing it or lower the bet. I think you would have made more with dropping bet to $5 at 1,800, and you still would have gotten the minor. Playing spins too fast, eats up your bank roll.

Can you explain how the must hit buy works. I was under the impression that if you make a $10 spin it goes up by $10. Is each machine different and dose you bet amount change how much it goes up?

On most Ainsworth Must Hit By Progressives, the major goes up by 1.5 CENTS for every $10 wagered and the minor goes up about 8 CENTS for every $10 wagered. Whenever a must-hit by progressive is hit, it resets back to the start. The RNG then picks what the new must hit by number is. Once that number is reached, the player is awarded the progressive. It's completely random. If the range is $350 - $500 for the minor, it can pick ANYTHING between that range.
