Just as a side note - all the voices in this recording are Angelina Jordan - she did the backing vocals and the rap section and it was all mixed together for the final recording.
This was the opening song of the movie.
The movie company is a subsidiary of Republic Records and is how they provide another opportunity for their new artists to sing and be noticed. All the voices in this recording are Angelina's and yes she can rap.

This is from a "Motion Picture" (=movie), not a show. It's a RomCom (Romantic comedy) & this song starts the movie with the opening credits. Angelina does all the vocals in this, including lead, back up & the rapping part.

So glad that you reacted to this! The Hating Game was a romantic comedy movie and this was a great version of this song. All of the voices were Angelina, there was no one else! LOL But I do agree that they should have boosted her voice underneath, but overall the song sounded great!

ahh .. you were asking if this were a movie or show .. with "Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" on the screen behind you. Sure .. I understand that you and the background were added after you were speaking .. but it is still funny.
This is the first time hearing this song recording that I heard the volumes like you describe. Maybe your audio setup was affecting the equalization.
